#21 without counting the sales from her official store, she should reach the top 20 with ease once those sales are added...

That is great news. I’m not even sure where I read that #21 position from so I may be completely wrong.

It would be incredible if this beat the #19 position for Aphrodite and became her second highest US peaking album. This success really is so unprecedented.

Fingers crossed! That really would be incredible

Some detailed Thursday info:

#1 - 50,397 - Kylie

Physicals: 42,436

Downloads: 5,690

Streaming: 2,271

Sales achieved on Wednesday:

Overall: +5,304

Physicals: +4,713

Downloads: +214

Streaming: +377

That’s 48,126 pure sales (physicals/downloads). She’s pretty much guaranteed to cross over 50k pure sales for the week! That’s amazing. Doesn’t seem like any artist has managed that since Rod Stewart last December!

Same I'm mostly excited as she almost certainly has the #1 now (I think)! Can't wait for the reactions if it does manage it and also looking forward to seeing sales! It's been a very nerve-wracking week.

The result is decided now.

I wish it could be revealed now or early morning.

I echo the anxious, nerve-wracking, excited feelings...the intensity for Kylie fans has been turned up to 11 since last week! Remember when the 1st batch of signed CDs was announced? It was madness :w00t: :P

And then the onslaught of promo...I still haven't totally caught up

The moment of truth in less than 24 hours....EEEEEEK!!! :w00t:

So I promise this isn’t a K vs Madge post - but how do sales of Golden and Disco compare to Madame X?

27,227 for Madame X.

48,032 for Golden.

Looks like Turquoise Vinyl sold out at Amazon too.

Wonder what will be coming next.

Amazon 2020 Best Sellers updated

48 Deluxe Disco CD

62 Turquoise Vinyl Disco

Lets hope they can move up a bit more

Some surprises above her but she has only been out a week so she will likely gain on many (amazon is not her biggest selling outlet when she has HMV and Townsend

Think the aim of this week for Disco is to try and sell consistently across all formats and platforms and be available for people to access. 'sold out signs' on online sales platforms isn't good idea.

Competitive sales week she may need to fight hard for a top ten spot but then if she released a new vinyl etc then she could sell well again

Am sure BMG have a week two strategy too. Fingers crossed she can stay top 10.

Keep streaming!

I’m not sure we will get anything next - they will leave us with the standard CD, Deluxe CD and standard vinyl. Amazing that they have cleared out everything in week one to the fans and they are left with the normal editions which the GP would want.

We have the Amazon Black Friday vinyl to come however not expecting that to last long either.

The result is decided now.

Me and my bank balance are glad this week is over

Nerves and suspense aside, this week has been very lucrative for both acts, if it wasn't for this battle I'm sure fans on both sides wouldn't have bought as many bundles and various formats as they have done, so I guess if Kylie is nbr 1 it will be a major victory on all fronts, proving to the young generation that she is still reigning queen and that you should think twice before picking her album release week to release your album... LM could have got the nbr 1 any other week but they elected Kylie's release week a full month after it was announced, if they are nbr 2, they only have themselves to blame.

Exactly - their label and management obviously thought Kylie would be the easiest target hence why they were so unprepared for a chart battle, they really should have chosen the previous week and they would have walked to #1.

Wonder if Strictly will eventually get cancelled and no promo for Kylie as am sure she has a slot......

All a bit strange. Contestants, judges, presenters all self isolating

The turquoise vinyl actually moved up to 8 on Amazon chart but now sadly it looks to have sold out.....

5,7 and 8 on Amazon let's hope they stay high in the top 30 all next week which would be nice combined

When do all the Charts come out?

UK tonight

USA? Germany? Ireland? Australia? France? Spain?

I know it might only be 100 sales but I’m impressed Disco is still 4 & 12 on iTunes, LM down from 2 to 7.

4th Dec could be another good week for Kylie.

She has her Deluxe CD exclusive to her website on pre-order

Shops re-open 2nd Dec (hopefully) and then Xmas shoppers will be out the weekend of 4/5 so casual buyers may buy

Would not surprise me if she has a big promo slot that weekend also..... Strictly or Jonathan Ross or Infinite Disco screening
