Do you really believe it has taken Kylie 2+ months to sell 1,000 £10 vinyl singles?

 

What would be your realistic guess?

 

I'm quite curious to know how many they actually pressed.

Imagine if Kylie shocked us all and appeared in the Official First Look Chart on the Sunday of release, much like The Rolling Stones did in July following their physicals!

If she has sold as many as their physicals, plus probably getting much more downloads and streams than they did - that could be really good news!

 

I suppose we'll know for sure how many when we see the sales breakdown on release week.

‘Dancing’ was limited to 5,000 - vinyl has grown since then so I can’t imagine her label would suddenly drop the figure so 5k at least.

 

Also it’s been available for a long time so it could potentially be more.

 

Even in the days when vinyl wasn’t the ‘in’ thing they pressed 2,500 of ‘I Was Gonna Cancel’ standard vinyl and 1,500 picture discs. The ‘Flower’ picture disc was also 5,000.

‘Dancing’ appeared at #16 in the first mids following the vinyl release so with streaming data missing she could give us a shock with Magic and/or SS!

I’m trying not to get my hopes up that we’ll get a Top 40 this era but at the very least both should get a new peak.

I'm hoping new peaks is the worst outcome. God a top 40 would be so good if it can happen but I wont get my hope's up.

HMV usually send on a Wednesday so that it arrives on Friday so expect the money to be debited then

Honestly the same - would love Top 40 but would be happy with both getting new peaks

So on a good week you need around 9k to make the top 40, bad week 10k... even if she sold 5k vinyl I can't see it :cry:
