I gave this a quick listen this morning and it's really cohesive. I'm not wow-wow-wow-wowed or anything but it's got some decent songs on it, I particularly like the laid back approach of Miss a Thing and the way Dance Floor Darling explodes into the Daft Punk/Kylie collaboration that I now want to happen for real. Real Groove is quite infectious in its chorus too.

 

Overall I'd say it's immediately one of her stronger albums.

I still think Kylie will take it. It’s not like she’s going to do nothing on streams and she still has very strong promo coming up, plus I wouldn’t be surprised if more formats get released / discounted.

 

If she wasn’t ahead already, then I’d be worried.

Come on Kylie! Pls I’m really rooting for her to get this purely because hers is the strongest album of the two and she’s going to be the first female (or even first artist in general idk) to get a UK #1 album in five consecutive decades this decade.

Also now everyone is pushing for the £6.99 album version to be downloaded on iTunes.

Looks like there could be more signed CDs coming on Amazon - the signed album page has changed from ‘We don’t expect this item to come back into stock’ to ‘Notify me when this item becomes available’

I think Kylie needs more signed copies available early next week.

Sales from these could easily decide the Number 1 position.

I don’t know where I read this but someone said Golden did 24k in preorders so if true it must have sold more than that by the end of day one.

I haven't bought my deluxe copy yet, was going to help week two sales but I may purchase on Monday depending on the amounts.

This is a great album, has peaked my interest far quicker than Golden managed to. Supernova, Dance Floor Darling, Say Something, Magic, Real Groove and Unstoppable are the best for me personally. Hey Lonely and Celebrate You are the weakest however are still decent.
