I'm set on Linda or Denny, with Mick as an outside. I mean they've pulled off shocks before (Kathy returning)! I just think it would really give legs to Linda's alcoholism storyline to lose Mick, Denny I agree would be quite short sighted and kind of just going for a tragic twist for Sharon rather than any long-term impact, but it just feels like that's gonna happen. As for Linda dying, I feel like if Kellie wanted to leave this would be the perfect bang for her to go out with.

I'm with Lewis though, wouldn't be surprised at more than one death! As

June Brown has quit EastEnders! :o

Yeah just saw a clip on Twitter from the Distinct Nostalgia podcast where she states that Dot’s visit to Ireland was her quitting!

Such an underwhelming way for an iconic character to leave
Apparently June has form for saying things like this and being a bit of a diva so I hope this is the case now. I don't think she's pulled a consistently convincing performance since 2016 (there was only a couple of glimmers during Dr. Legg's exit story) but Dot deserves a better exit than what her last scenes were.

I’m absolutely devastated at this news! I had a feeling that June was gonna be one of those EE characters who would never leave the show or die on screen but I’m gutted that she’s already filmed her last scenes and that’s what they were! It’s not really the same but it reminds me of Deirdre on CS and her final scenes being what they were (with those reasons being very different ofc). I really really hope that there’s shades of lies about that article and that if she is leaving she’s gonna die on screen.

And it happens to be front page today when the most anticipated EE episode in a long while is due to air!

Edit: Just heard a audio clip of June literally saying those words in the article!

She seems like she'd say that so that the show try and get her back for a big storyline  I get the feeling she's quite a diva and almost thinks she's bigger than the show or can hold them to ransom, and tbh she probably can as such an iconic character.
The show better get her back for a proper exit story. She deserves to die on screen even though it’ll break my heart to watch it, I’ll accept that as her exit if she’s adamant she wants to go.

As for this death episode tonight I can’t remember the last time I felt so hyped to watch an episode of a soap! Like literally. I’m trying to figure out clues and analyse every scene to work out who it could be.

I’m also feeling like we could get two deaths as well. Whoever it is though will have a very memorable exit though which can only be a good thing! If I was on a soap and I was written out or I chose to leave this is how I’d want to go during a big set of episodes that’s got a lot of people talking, hype, on a anniversary week and in a memorable way. So in a sense whoever it is can leave the show with that in their mind.

Mick and Denny I feel would create the biggest impact upon the show out of characters I could genuinely see leaving. The main issue with Denny is if they do kill him off it could be incredible but short sighted as well given he’s a legacy character and a strong actor too. But it would push Sharon to the forefront and then end her friendship with Ian who’s partly responsible, then Phil and Keanu also being partly responsible too would create a real story for Sharon. Everyone closest to her who means the most in some way being involved and she’s in a funeral parlour too!

Mick dying would fit his character. Staying with Linda until the very end, not letting go or giving up on her remaining being the good guy. Plus he can’t swim! Then the stories it could create following that with Linda and her drinking, Shirley losing a son and Phil in a sense causing that, Tina could really step up. Ollie losing his dad at a young age and Linda either stepping up in a big way or really regressing drinking wise plus possible returns from the carter kids (maybe minus Nancy as she’s In casualty although for one or two episodes it’s plausible). Plus Danny Dyer has openly said it’s a shock which makes you sort of not think he could be talking about himself.

Plus just the other week Bobby was thinking he’d killed Denny. And Ian being the one to cause it unintentionally....

I’m expecting tonight to shock me in a way I haven’t been genuinely shocked since the Wentworth S4 finale!

I expect June probably will be back, she’s always seemed like a diva. However, the only ‘big’ storyline I think they’d want her back for is Dot’s death so she might have cut her nose off to spite her face. They can always do the death without her, like with Jim or Frank but it’s a big silly if she’s still around to play it out. Fact is, she’s 93 and it is starting to show quite a bit, I’m not sure she can handle big storylines anymore. The last time I really enjoyed her was probably when Abi was alive.

That's IF she gets home tho x

100%, I think the best thing they can do is that so that we at least get something good out of her on-screen family.

What a week this has been !!!

I am GAGGED about tonight. I have no idea which way it will go. My money is on Denny being a death, Keanu too... One of the babies.. The list goes on!

> is Tina.

Been thinking that Mo has had an unusually notable role this week. If Bex dies, it would be quite apt for Mo to have been there at her birth and then at her death. Pretty sure Mo and Bex are in the same promo photo for this week too.
Also have I missed something or where is Martin in all of this!?

True, he’s been nowhere! Even after all the hype in the trailer which actually features loads of characters that haven’t been seen all week. I expect Sonia will contact him tonight to help get rid of Leo.

I’ve enjoyed Mo this week, it’s been great seeing her, Kat, Denise, Rainie and Stuart in supporting roles.

Still not a fan of the idea of Bex dying. It wouldn’t be too much of a shock and it wouldn’t get an emotional reaction from me because she’s just been really annoying for the last couple of years.
