Woeful drop for Louis Tomlinson in the albums, I wonder can he even stay top 75 now.

Unlikely I'd say, he'll drop a few places with every update this week so will probably just miss the Top 75.

Am I right in thinking this is essentially a joke album by Green Day?

I think I read somewhere that they were forced to make this album to get out of their record deal so they basically didn't try too hard with it. For all that though I think it's got some great little songs on it!

Its disappointing for Louis this week, shame he didn't line up some signings or something to help the album in week 2.
Glad to see Jonas brothers in top 30 hopefully it keeps rising over the next few weeks!

He does - but all the sales went to week 1.

so this is not that different from the tour bundles in the US

really hope they don't allow those in the UK

I went to a Louis gig with Banquet Records last night, the sale went to last week but I paid £18 for the CD and ticket - a good price especially when I was buying the CD regardless. There was no option to just buy the ticket, it's a good way of increasing sales and a reasonable price!

Well its a good way of inflating the first week sales, however doesn't help the 4-OUT chart run that it may run the risk of having

so basically you buy the concert tix (that's a normal gig price) and get the CD for free and it counts for the charts, great :/

Well that's one way of looking at it. I see it as £10 that I'd spend on the CD anyway and a short gig + Q&A session for £8 - bargain. It's an incentive for helping sales, and a far better way of boosting album sales than bundles with 5 t-shirts, a mug and some loo roll (looking at you, Lewis Capaldi x)

This just shows how awful sales are when PCD are sinking fast and they're still top 5 on iTunes, but top 100 on Spotify most of the week so far.
Sales being very low these days is not news. If anything PCD being as high as they currently are (way above where they are on Spotify and Apple) is an unusually strong influence from sales.
Hello, would someone mind telling me where Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson are in the Tuesday update? I don't know where to check, the official UK charts website still has the Monday one. Thank you! x
