Lady Gaga teaser for “stupid love” sounds very promising. Do we think she could debut at number 1?

I'll eat my hat if she debuts at number 1. The days of her being able to do that are LONG gone, no matter how good the song might be.

the song leaked in full a month ago, does the snippet sound different?

That and it's never actually happened before. :lol:

I'd love her to do it though, hopeful of a top 10 debut all the same! She's in a really good position right now.

Gaga could debut top ten! I’m hopeful that she will.

She’s never had a #1 debut here before though all her previous #1 singles climbed to their peak. I think it’ll be number one on the sales only chart though.

just realised he's John Newman's brother after reading this tweet, had no clue, but has he written a song for Ed Sheeran? That sounds weird

BBC Radio 2

@BBCRadio2

He's written hits for Ed Sheeran, Calvin Harris, and Rudimental, and chart success runs in the family too…

He was a co-writer on 'Lay It All On Me' by Rudimental feat. Ed Sheeran. So... sort of. He has a credit on Jess Glynne's 'All I Am' as well.

There's something so :') about them going with James Newman. Like, John Newman is not really that relevant any more let alone his brother, could they not have got him to do it for a little more name recognition? Lol ~

then that's a bit mis-leading to say he wrote for Ed :D it's not like he's Max Martin :D

Yes because Scooch, Blue, and all the others who’ve done Eurovision the last decade have been very relevant :D

I know, that's my point - the fact that even John Newman, who's not really relevant at all any more, still seems to be too relevant for us to have got him instead of his brother. I really wish we'd send an actually recognisable name (from the current century preferably) to Eurovision for once one of these years.

(Scooch was 13 years ago at this point by the way lol ~ they must have done something right if they're still the first act you name as one of our entries of the last decade when that hasn't been true for 3 years :lol:)

Haha - I just remember the campness :lol:

Christ though - really is it 13 years?
