Impressive to see two Eurovision entries in the iTunes top 40 at any time, let alone two and a half months before the contest. Surely one of these days we'll get another proper Eurovision hit in this country again.

I'm sure one can sneak its way onto Hot Hits UK and take off on Spotify eventually, not that this helped Arcade and Soldi last year.

I’ve met Daði a few times and know some people that know him and he’s a very sweet and genuine guy. I find it HIGHLY unlikely that he’s bothered even in the slightest with music charts in the UK :lol: it’s so funny in an age of viral hits that people find the thought of a Eurovision one so unlikely. The song is catchy AF, has a fun video, fun dance and the lyrics are sweet. I’ve seen a number of huge accounts tweeting this or posting about it in their IG story and I really think this hype is just coming organically. He said on saturday that he hasn’t paid a dime in PR so this is all as surprising to him as it is to us.

It's simply just coz there's a lot of reports on it. I've seen more reports for this than I have most other Eurovision songs. I haven't even heard the song yet but I've seen numerous reports about it. (Plus the fact you don't need alot of sales to get that high up rn)
