March 1, 20205 yr This is huge must smash for her considering on somebody and torn flopped, I wonder if Spotify will support her
March 1, 20205 yr TBH if it’s not HUGE surely her time with big backing will be over? I feel like that ship has long sailed by now.
March 2, 20205 yr but all those songs releases in the last 6-8 months, nothing has been properly pushed, not added to radios, not added to Spotify playlists... at the end of the day, the label cannot complain cos they're not really pushing the songs
March 7, 20205 yr but all those songs releases in the last 6-8 months, nothing has been properly pushed, not added to radios, not added to Spotify playlists... at the end of the day, the label cannot complain cos they're not really pushing the songs ‘Torn’ had prime time TV promo in the UK and she done all the radio stations plus performances for Capital, Attitude etc., - it was pushed it just seems she has a distinct lack of a fan base
March 9, 20205 yr ‘Torn’ had prime time TV promo in the UK and she done all the radio stations plus performances for Capital, Attitude etc., - it was pushed it just seems she has a distinct lack of a fan base What good is that gonna do though if it gets zero Spotify support and nothing on commercial radio? It's essentially futile.
March 12, 20205 yr This is out now, it reminds me of something, I like it... Do I think it will save her career, probably not.
March 12, 20205 yr Does it sample 'You Gave Love a Bad Name'? Ahh THAT's what it reminds me off, or it could just be like 'So I Am' and 'Torn' in that they both sound like so many other songs in parts but samples weren't really listed. I will say after second listen with the visual, I think it's her strongest since 'Sweet But Psycho'.
March 12, 20205 yr It's actually REALLY good! So much better than pretty much all the shit she's been throwing at a wall since time. It's a strong song that sounds like it could easily be a hit, shame she's left it way too late in the day for it to actually be one.
March 12, 20205 yr It's a proper bop. Can I also add how obsessed I am with the "If I had a sword it would be bigger than yours" line. Other forums are also saying that the electric guitar part is unnecessary but I live for that part. :funky:
