Their song together is a monster of a dance tune, but its message is about submitting yourself to devastation ("It's coming down on me, water like misery") — a flawless dance floor crier as a "celebration of all the tears," Gaga describes.

From Gaga's interview with Paper Magazine! This cannot come soon enough

Something similar to Dancing On My Own or 'no tears left to cry' please

I really hope this doesn't disappoint like 95% of big named collaborations do.

I have faith in Gaga tbh!

is it coming before the album?

This could be one of the most memorable pop star collaborations in many, many years. I'm obviously beyond excited but I'm terribly nervous too.

Saying that...I have a strong feeling they're gonna absolutely smash it outta the park.

I'm expecting a little bit of 'The Edge of Glory' mixed with 'no tears' - that's how euphoric I'm expecting this to be.

Yeah 'no tears left to cry' was the first song to come into my head after reading that description! If it's even a fraction as good as that then I'll be happy. Still having to pinch myself that two of my favourites are coming together <3 Btw Bjork, there's nothing concrete yet about the release of this as far as I'm aware, but the end of March has been rumoured a bit - so if that is true then yes, we'd be getting it before the album.
Im screaming they mentioned Evacuate the Dancefloor. Isn't ETD widely regarded as a Just Dance knock-off? 😂😂

Im hoping that’s what they mean by Dancing On My Own I could only think of her from the top of my head.

I’m completely not at all ready. Gaga is undeniably my #1 female but over the last few years I’d say Ariana is like my #2 so them both being on one track is like a dream come true. And the fact Ariana is a stan (I remember tweets she posted when she seen The Monster Ball too). Makes it all the more special.

I have a feeling when they met and spoke too they related to one another a lot as well. Ariana is similar to Gaga in a lot of ways (the Italian backgrounds, vocally both of them being quite theatrical, both powerhouse in the vocals department) so I think they have genuine chemistry.

(I also still feel Adele is somehow involved on the album as well just not on this particular single).

Edit: didn’t realise this was the Ari artist thread

Yes please! I'm happy that we'll have new Dua and Little Mix music shortly, but this coming out in the near future after those would be perfect
I overlooked Little Mix releasing! Here for them and Dua Lipa bringing the magical pop experience through these trying times.
