Can we please refrain from personal attacks and swearing at one another, I've deleted the posts in question. We don't always have to agree but there is no need to attack each other.

Well then warn that poster I'm sick of personal attacks by him/her so everytime they do it I'm going to respond by calling them a profanity and you'll have a mess to clear up again. So I guess balls in your court, have a mess to clear up time and again or stop it at the source.

I was checking Metacritic to see if something was different. She has 76/100. Is it the first time we got positive reviews for something Spice related? I mean having a Metacritic, AnyDecentMusic? and Album of the Year?

Critics are effing moaners 😂 Northern Star deserves 5 stars.

After listening several times I came to the conclusion... the perfect tracklist should be this one:

1- Who I Am

2- Blame It On Me

3- Good Enough

4- Escape

5- In And Out Of Love

6- Overload

7- Fearless

8- Here I Am

9- Nowhere To Run

10- Into You

11- End Of Everything

What passed in her mind about not including Into You in the standard version?

Im in Montemor-o-Velho region, Coimbra. What about you?

I sent you a PM

Is it? She is still doing promo, just this weekend we got a new performance, some new interviews, etc

Wasn't that pre-recorded? I more meant future singles than random interviews.

Melanie just released a new album like 2 weeks ago, chill. If there's more, we'll hear soon. I dont believe this era is over yet, lets see.
With the streaming era an artist builds towards an album release. It's better to release 3 singles before the album and one afterwards. Streaming doesn't allow for multiple singles after the album release.

This is true. And mostly, any post-album release single usually comes with added incentives such as new features, or it is released in remix format. Would LOVE IT if Melanie would release a new edit of a song like Overload or Good Enough. But honestly she probably will go with Into You which is not available to stream yet so could be used for that effect I guess!! Plus it is probably her best bet right now at a 'hit' :cheer:

But she isn't a streaming artist or looking for single chart success. What she really needs right now is a single getting airplay on radio 2 so we can see those casual downloads she was getting during Blame it on me's high airplay to be downloading the album or ordering it on Amazon now.

Her streaming rise has done nothing for her sales, she will still end up doing her usual 12k. She should have saved at least In and out of love if not 2 singles for post album release.

Who says she isn’t releasing post album singles. She has the ones on the deluxe album which have not been heard on the regular one which can be serviced to radio / have a video done... potentially then sending some deluxe ones to stores...

Exactly.

Also, what she needs is some fans to sleep with radio broadcasters so we can get her on Radio 1 and Capital. Let's do it, who is for it?!?!?!?!? :cheer:
