Madonna had five entries in here to be fair, some of them had to drop out soon!
How the hell is 'Live To Tell' so low :(

There was a few posters that made sure Madonna didn’t do well . They. Bites tactically .

Live To Tell has many high scores and dominated the last round (it actually come first and now isn’t even top 50 )

Live To Tell came 7th in its semi-final. As there were four semis, that would make it about the 25th most popular song in that round.

In the first round,it finished in 17th place.

so sad about Live to Tell, I genuinely think it's the best #2 ever

but this poll has been trolled, would be interesting to see the real results without the trolling voters in the end :/

63. 4 Non Blondes - What's Up?

Average score - 6.531

Stopped by : Take That - Pray

Top scores : 10 - Addy,Achabaan, 9.5 - jra1989

Low scores : 1 - AH Gold, 2 - garyfeld, 2.5 - StoneDragon

The title of this song does not appear in the lyrics but the repeated phrase "what's going on?" was not chosen as its title to avoid confusion with the Marvin Gaye song. It was 4 Non Blondes' only top 40 single, they split up in 1994.

I always wondered why that song wasn't called 'What's Going On?', today I learned x

Likewise!

Pretty decent result for Sunchyme there, probably rank it as my favourite chart hit of all time

62. Pet Shop Boys - Go West

Average score - 6.531 (more 9s)

Stopped by : Culture Beat - Mr Vain, DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince - Boom! Shake The Room

Top scores : 10 - King Rollo,Addy, 9.5 - Jason

Low scores : 0 - DASHER77, 2 - DANTEFUEGO,chrissmith276

Village People's original version of this only got to number 15 in 1979 (their previous two singles had both reached the top 2). The Pet Shop Boys' version from 1993 gave them their highest chart position since 1988 but it was also their final top 5 single. Parts of the song resemble both the State Anthem Of The Soviet Union and Canon in D by Johann Pachelbel.

61. Technotronic featuring Ya Kid K - Pump Up The Jam

Average score - 6.531 (more 10s)

Stopped by : Black Box - Ride On Time

Top scores : 10 - AH Gold,Jason,Addy,dutch22

Low scores : 1 - Spiceboy,jszmiles, 2 - Jay1982,DANTEFUEGO

I put this on the song list as "featuring Felly" as that's what it says on the record cover but I have now read that Felly was a model who didn't actually sing any vocals on the track so I have changed the credit on these results to the authentic singer Ya Kid K. The song above this at no.1,'Ride On Time',also had a non singing model fronting it. Technotronic was the project of the Belgian Jo Bogaert.

This one spent seven weeks in the top 40 before reaching number 2. It was the second single by Taylor Swift to reach that position.

Feel So Close did it relatively well. It's brilliant, but I wasn't expecting it to be top 50.
