I'm so pleased and emotional that some kind of justice has been served for the 22. I really hope he serves a long, LONG time in prison.

FOR THE 22

Thank you for sharing this - the news is so dominated by Coronavirus right now (understandably) that I've barely even heard about anything else today. Relieved for the families/friends/anyone affected by this that some justice and closure is served. For the 22

Basically my thoughts on this, and it's good to see it finally happen and for somebody to be held accountable. That's been a very painful and long-drawn out process for the loves ones of the victims.

He's been sentenced to at least 55 years in prison. He was under 21 at the time of the attack hence the use of a minimum number of 55, rather than a whole life order, but he'll likely spend life in jail nevertheless. Felt quite emotional watching the news report on my lunch break when they spoke about the families of the victims hearing the news. Re-watched 'One Love Manchester' just a couple of days ago so the victims have been on my mind lately anyway. Glad that some justice has been served.
