Its a great way to keep her name out there in parts of America even though a large part of the audience who may buy the wine will not know her for her music  :o
Kylie’s appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers tonight and Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen tomorrow night, presumably to promote her wines.

I think Kylie knows only to well her music and America is never going to pay, especially at this stage so i can understand her trying to make a name for herself in another way in that market.
^^ Doing more to promote her wine stateside than she has for her music <_<

Tbf she did do a fair bit of promotion for 'Disco'!

She also did a gig at Cafe Carlyle in New York after her Coldplay appearance.

5) Say Something

Loved that interview, Kylie was extremely relaxed and i also enjoyed the number 1 in 5 decades nod aswell and lovely to see Neighbours mentioned although she said she felt there was alot of pressure on her to return, i think that was from a fan point of view.

By her standards yes, but nowhere near enough to make any kind of a dent on Americans.

The majority of her sales and thus chart position came from a change in US chart rules which allowed for US fans purchases from her UK store to be counted towards Billboard.

I guess but I'd rather she concentrate her efforts on Europe and Australia anyway when it comes to music. Her wine range appears to be so much more lucrative than music and perhaps even touring is so I wouldn't blame them for being more eager to promote her wines.

Good to see her promoting some music in New York while there although i know very small audiences, not the best versions of the songs in my opinion but great to see her performing.
I think she will hold back and tour the next album and mix in plenty of songs from Disco along with it.

Yeah, I think it'll be a tour for the next album now with a smattering of the key tracks from DISCO to make up for it.

As for the wine, I'm pleased for her but I genuinely couldn't be less interested.

I don't drink wine myself at all as I hate the stuff but I'm glad it's doing so well for her. Re the tour I think that woukd be the best way to do it so from a fan point of view it would be an action packed set list.

What an incredible achievement for her, they got the market SO right with this launch and they’ve positioned it well as a mid-range/premium line that’s accessible - I think it will continue to grow and I hear so many reviews about it from shocked people expecting it to be rubbish because it’s Kylie

I'm amazed by how successful this venture has been for her! Well done Kylie.

Generally I'm not a particularly big fan of sparkling wine to be honest, but nevertheless I quite liked the Prosecco Rosé. I love the bottle design!

I'm hoping she'll venture into sweeter wines at some point, because her range of wine is definitely on the "dry" side.

It's more or less what Kylie would have earned on tour - the Golden Tour earned $17.5m from 21 out of 33 shows (the earnings from the remaining shows haven't been reported) which works out at £14.4m. Obviously this was over the course of two years rather than a few months, but it's clearly helped fill in for the lack of touring and that figure is only going to keep increasing.

I'm quite surprised at just how successful it has been too, particularly having the #1 best selling pink prosecco in the UK. Clearly it's gone beyond a bit of a novelty and is something people are genuinely enjoying.
