March 28, 20205 yr It's never been one of my favourites of hers but I think that's more down the fact it was well overplayed from as far back as I can remember - same with BOMT. I don't think anyone can deny it's a strong pop song and a worthy follow-up to her debut era though. The title is iconic too lol. And the Titanic reference.
March 28, 20205 yr What a moment this all was. From the video to the song itself being an absolute MONSTER. Another defining moment in pop culture.
March 28, 20205 yr In my top3 Britney singles, so iconic. I always go back to this video when people ask me what makes Britney is so "special"? Its that star quality, the way she manages to completely seduce you in one take vmn605UKI1E Edited March 28, 20205 yr by Euphorique
March 28, 20205 yr It's also worth noting that it was Brit's idea for the Mars theme. She always had an instinct for what works and what doesnt.
March 30, 20205 yr She really did/does! She's really under appreciated when it comes to that sort of stuff. Weren't the Toxic and Womanizer "being Toxic Part 2" videos her idea? (Maybe just the latter but I'm sure it was said that she had a lot of involvement in the video treatment for Toxic.
