I can't remember what I rated Sirens (did it from memory) but listening to it again I'm not blown away. Her voice definitely has a quality to it that works well on slower songs but the song itself is nothing amazing.

DIANA VICKERS - ONCE [8.32]

Highest: George.keh, Josh!, J00ps, Doug & Lukuzz (11); FUTURE NOSTALGIA, Cameron, ElectroBoy, Liam & Jack (10) + Hiyaaaa & JosephStyles (09)

Lowest: StayatHaus (02); Scene (04) + NickF1 & StupidLove (05)

At number 7 is the debut single from Diana Vickers. Once was a hit for Diana Vickers. It went straight into the UK charts at #1 which is quite surprising due to her voice being so marmite. People either love it or hate it and it wasn't the best received during her stint on X Factor, where she finished in 4th place, despite being one of the big favourites to win early on. For me, I like the song a lot, however, despite being a huge fan of her on her series, I don't like the whispery vocals during the verses, but other than that, this song goes off. Not a fave of mine anymore, but I still enjoy it!

Once I loved back in the day as I did Diana!

A great debut single. Her albums had some hidden gems though and I think her best material didn’t actually get single pushes.

Had the Laryngitis gate not happened and had she not skipped a week I wonder if she could’ve managed a place in the final. Up until then she was favourite to win wasn’t she then after that happened she seemed to get mostly luke warm comments from the judges.

A definite marmite contestant much like Cher who also come 4th although Diana didn’t get the chance for a sing off to make her seasons final.

Once is by far my favourite single any X Factor alum has released except Little Mix. If i could give it 100 more points than everything else I would.

Broken Heels to win now pls

Thought once would be a bit higher, love it.

Surprised All Night Long in the top 6 too. Hope Tears is out next though

AMELIA LILY - YOU BRING ME JOY [8.36]

Highest: FUTURE NOSTALGIA, ElectroBoy, NickF1, StayatHaus & Lukuzz (10) + Liam & DionTheSats123 (09)

Lowest: Rob S & StupidLove (06)

Just missing out on the top 5 is the highest song to not receive a score of "11"! You Bring Me Joy was Amelia Lily's debut single and went straight into the top 3 of the UK singles chart. It charted at #2 and is the 2nd highest X Factor debut single of 2011, behind Little Mix's 'Wings'. It even out peaked One Direction's 'Live While We're Young' which was released 3 weeks later and charted at #3! Signed to Xenomania's label it was also produced by them too and could definitely have been a Girls Aloud cast off! It would have suited them so well. A banger and even though it got no 11, no one scored it below a 6!

So here is your top 5!

Alexandra Burke feat. Flo-Rida - Bad Boys [#1]

Alexandra Burke - Broken Heels [#8]

Alexandra Burke feat. Pitbull - All Night Long [#4]

Ella Henderson - Ghost [#1]

Clean Bandit feat. Louisa Johnson - Tears [#5]

3x Alexandra Burke *.*

Which song has won? All were HUGE hits too!

YBMJ's chorus is so damn catchy! Definitely could've fit in with GA's later stuff.

I think Tears should leave next only because it's not really a Louisa song. :sarah:

Still think Ghost will win this.

YBMJ is a delight. I remember being really into it when it was released!

Burke rightfully slaying  I'm not huge on the other two songs in the top 5 so I'm hoping for a Burke top 3 :kink:

CLEAN BANDIT feat. LOUISA JOHNSON - TEARS [8.47]

Highest: JosephStyles (11); George.keh, FUTURE NOSTALGIA, Cameron, Hiyaaaa, Josh!, Liam, Jack, Rob S & DionTheSats123 (10) + Calum & troylovesmusic (09)

Lowest: StupidLove (02) + Feel_The_Fever, StayatHaus & J00ps (06)

Into the top 5 we go and it's the huge smash hit from Louisa Johnson as she collaborates with UK Dance act Clean Bandit on their track Tears. Unlike their usual smashes though this wasn't a number 1, but did as those hits did. It's a bop. A bit overrated, but I can bop to it. I'm not surprised to see it as high as 5 in this rate, but I'd personally have placed it lower, maybe mid-top 20? A huge hit though, so it's no surprise that it has it's fans. It was great that they gave Louisa a chance to shine with a big name collaboration like this and have it pay off. She had so much potential and it's gutting to see she has become one of the least successful, marketable winners... they didn't even give her an album :(

Aww You Bring Me Joy should have been top 5. Love Tears but don't think it should have been that high. Surprised All Night Long is still to come too
