Love Slave, Work Bitch and Crazy.

Piece of Me has never quite connected with me especially when I find the whole of Blackout such a strong album I find POM a bit average.

How the hell did 'Break The Ice' finish as high as 16th? :puke2:

Work Bitch is one of the worst things she’s ever done! One of my least favourite lead singles by an artist I like in history tbh.

:neyde:

'(You Drive Me) Crazy' is fantastic, one of my 10s! I'd just started Year 7 when it was a hit, so it strongly reminds me of how I felt starting at a new school and feeling a little more grown up~

I'll always be a bit  that this single "only" peaked at #5 in the UK, even with an incredible new remix. It sold over 63,000 copies in its first week. Thankfully it wasn't in danger of missing the Top 5, but it was also significantly behind the positions ahead of it. Tssk at Mambo No. 5 still selling that strongly after 5 weeks on sale. <_<

Non mover @no.6 is ICONIC, LEGENDARY Oops!...I Did It Again. Lead single from Brit's somphore same titled album.

She smashed the world yet again. Album opened with over 1.3m in US and cemented her on the top of the chart. The single was pretty much no.1 everywhere or top 3 bar US where it peaked @no.9. After so many years 'Oops' has become one of the signature singles of Brit career. In today's streaming age, 'Oops' is actually getting some healthy streams. It is the most streamed song from the year 2000 with almost 280m streams, soon it will join to club 300m. Video has just recently passed 255m and overtook I Wanna Go which is at 254m atm. The red suit will be forever ICONIC.

Fun fact: Exactly month ago 'Oops' had most views in a day on youtube with over 200,000 views!

A masterpiece. It was always gonna be tough to avoid the sophomore slump, but my GOD did she deliver with this in every way shape or form. The video is iconic. The looks are iconic. It's extremely well remembered in today's pop culture. Just amazing.

Britney, before you go, there's something I want you to have

Oh, it's beautiful, but wait a minute, isn't this?

Yeah, yes it is

But I thought the old lady dropped it into the ocean in the end

Well baby, I went down and got it for you

Aww, you shouldn't have

Honestly, I don't know anyone who doesn't quote that on the edits where it removes it! My favourite in-song dialogue of all time :')
OIDIA is EXACTLY how you do a second lead single after a monster classic like BOMT. The title is arguably just as well remembered as '...Baby', the video, Titanic reference, red body suit. :drama: Everything was a triumph!

Does that mean you're changing your poor score of 5  (I know it's too late now etc. etc. but just want to know if u still stand by it)

Piece Of Me - One of my least favourite Britney singles oops so a bit too high for me!

Work Bitch - Forever one of my ultimate motivational running anthems  the accent is a bit silly but the production is killer and that middle 8 slays

(You Drive Me) Crazy - I've really turned into a stan of this in recent times - the 'Stop!' remix certainly gave the song an injection of oomph *.*

Oops...! I Did It Again - One of her most iconic for sure! Pop perfection and the entire look in the video is so striking

You clocked me. I should have rated it higher! In my defence though it isn't one of my Britney faves but I can still appreciate that its a well-crafted pop song with a flawless campaign. :sarah: The receipts speak for themselves lol! But - like with BOMT - overplay back in the day has long-term damaged my ability to enjoy it as much as I should.

so iconic!

Oops is another one for me I find a tad overrated hence me giving it a 7. Still a solid song but I'm glad it's not top 5
