Time Flies....1994 - 2009 was the second Greatest Hits compilation from Oasis. 'Stop The Clocks' came out in 2006 as the first Greatest Hits album, but only featured 18 tracks which were chosen by Noel Gallagher and came about at the end of their record contract with Sony. Time Flies...1994-2009 got released on the 14th June 2010 containing all 27 singles the band had released between 1994 and 2009 including 'Whatever and 'Lord Don't Slow Me Down' which had never appeared on any previous Oasis studio album. 'Sunday Morning Call' is not listed on the official tracklisting, but appears as a hidden track on the end of Disc 2 making it track 14, so I've decided to allow it in the rate.

Realeased as the second single from the bands fifth album 'Heathen Chemistry' in 2002 and peaked at Number 2 in the UK Top 40. Stop Crying Your Heart Out" is a motivational ballad which lasts for a duration of five minutes and five seconds. Its melodic structure bears strong resemblances to "Slide Away", one of their songs from their debut studio album Definitely Maybe, while its hook is reminiscent of the chorus of their 1996 song "Don't Look Back in Anger".

Leona Lewis recorded a cover version for her second studio album 'Echo' in 2009. She performed her version on the sixth series finale of The X Factor, and it peaked at number 29 on the UK Singles Chart.

I'm surprised to see 'Stop Crying Your Heart Out' get this far. Great song though!

Still going for 'Some Might Say'

Yeah that's a little too high for that, as great a ballad it is! Glad the tie-break worked itself out alright.

There are now 5 brilliant tracks left. The other is The Important of Being Idle :arrr:

I knew it would be out soon but still a shame, absolutely love Stop Crying Your Heart Out, think that's my favourite song with Liam's vocals

Still going with Whatever.

The Importance of Being Idle, by far the weakest link, not bad but too lazy specially the lyrics

Stop Crying Your Heart Out is just ok, at least is better than the awful Leona version :D

someone vote for Idle!! :D
Yay! We have one in the lead. I’m closing this now, so Gavin can do the next round later.
