Yeah Change is nothing special but I love the video where they represent different seasons then night and day. Shame the full video isn't on YouTube.

I think 'Girls' was a catalyst for the end of the Babes. Idk if it actually was the case but it seemed that once their retro era underperformed they decided to follow current trends and release dirge way below the standard of their earlier material.

CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS THOUGH

Some of their videos are cut of before the damn song is over?!

i've said it before somewhere but I always felt Girls was only made to make some $$$ from the Boots advert. I don't know if Boots asked them to make it but, I'm sure Boots had used the original in their adverts for like a year (and it was memorable adverts) and so I always believed they saw that and recorded a version to make Boots shove on the adverts instead :')

and that's Pop Music Conspiracies with Klaus

Girls was very ‘what’s the point?’ It didn’t differ much from the original and it just wasn’t what Sugababes were about. They went from Overload to THAT.

How the Sugababes aren’t represented here is beyond me, quality and sales wise they were bigger than every act mentioned in this thread in the 2000s and the only reason why girls aloud were more in the public eye was because they were pretty and did straight up up pop where the Sugababes were more about quality and letting the music speak ( except for their last album).

They also sold more albums and were the biggest group when it came to airplay between 2000-2009.

It’s all about quality
