Round 4 seen us say goodbye to Talk that Talk which left us with 11/21 votes.

 

The correct decision! For me I’d have personally eliminated it even sooner. Some real highs on that album and two smash singles too in the form of her biggest selling ever as lead artist We Found Love and also the top ten late single smash Where Have You Been which contains some of her finest video choreography!

 

It’s the more urban sounding numbers on this what are the low points for me. The title track, cockiness, birthday cake, red lip stick I usually always skip and then I’m not a massive You Da One lover either.

 

Weirdly... for me I think this album should’ve come either after Good Girl Gone Bad or even after A Girl Like Me. Like it feels like a regression to albums like Rated R and Loud what we got before this.

 

However there is still some charm to it. But you did right by eliminating it!

 

So with Talk that Talk gone we have four remaining albums... still vote for your least favourite.

I’ve had to go for ANTI.

 

It’s an album what’s grown on me but when I look at what’s left I prefer the other three.

 

ANTI has so many good songs on it though. (Tracks 9-13 are heavenly). But Work, Woo, Goodnight Gotham, Pose I tend to skip. I get what she wanted to do with this album now and I love half of it where as the other half is still either growing on me or I just don’t like :lol:

 

But it lacks those 10/10 moments for her what every other album left has like 4/5 of. It’s like a consistent album and a cohesive album and it’s definitely something what’s grown on me a LOT since it’s release.

 

 

But yeah for me her holy trinity would be Rated R, Loud and Unapologetic. So hopefully both of those survive this round B-)

GGGB and Loud are my two Rih faves so hopefully they will be top 2. I don't hold RR in as high regard as many others on here but I prefer more of the tracks on it to Anti.

Loud - full of hits, but the other three albums are more cohesive and interesting to me.
