It's wild that this album was the best selling album in USA 1997. Sometimes, one needs a reminder of how huge they were! It's crazy!

To be fair, Melanie did promote Spice 25 on her own. She filmed videos for Instagram with the vinyls, went on American TV, performed 2 Become 1 and mentioned the anniversary edition on Dancing with th

Something Kinda Funny is very underrated, even though it's only an album track.

Most causal listeners who only know Wannabe and a few others would be surprised this is from them.

I really agree!

'Naked' is really good! It's very mature sounding, and reminsicient of Madonna's 'Erotica' era to these ears! Anyone else hear that too?

Tbh looking at the tracklist, there are loads of sudden shifts of pace  It keeps us on our toes, it's not necessarily a bad thing but it is quite all over the place in terms of pace

Something Kinda Funny is classy as hell..

Never really cared so much for it back when I was 10 but now I love it. It's quite a cool and funky song. They did it really well in Istanbul, I think. It became so sulty and sexy there. Last year's was good too, like in Earl's Court. They always come together really well for this one, and clearly they themselves love it.

The Wembley performance does very little to me. Never quite enjoyed it ah...

This reminds me that I really want to find a moment to rewatch Istanbul... I haven't for years. Can't really remember the Something Kinda Funny performance strongly, I'll have to watch soon! I do remember the Wembley performance though and I have to agree, not one of their stand out moments.

Naked is, for me, Top Tier Spice. Gorgeously produced and sang. Emma and Mel B in the bridge are heaven, and Emma's big NAKEEEEEEEEED opening the chorus - iconic!

And Mel C's verse is just pure magic

The phone bit is amazing. Always loved it and thought it was at same time quirky and cool.

I hope they revive this one day on tour :cheer: (they wont) :nocheer:

Naked  The tour performance on chairs... iconic to Spice fans!

So sultry. The phone call moment as a middle 8 is really effective too! Hello? It's me~

Apparently Emma says 'I should have kept my f***ing mouth shut' but the way it's done it can't be heard unless you pay attention :hehe:

'If U Can't Dance' is my favourite album track  I was LIVING when this was performed on tour! Geri's Spanish part is everything.

Ending on my least favourite on the album. But what an incredible album this is. Very consistent, with insane highs and no real low points  Thanks for arranging this Jay!

When I was a child, I thought she was singing "I'm not sharing cigarettes with any old fool"

A highlight of going to the Spice Girls Exhibition in London a couple of years ago was a showing of Live In Istanbul  the chair routine for 'Naked' is iconic!

If You Can't Dance is my favourite Spice song. It's just so gorgeously produced, so stylish and funky. Perfect. Even Gerita's shit Spanish is iconic in it.

The opening of Istanbul is, well, forever a MOMENT

Soooooooooooo happy they brought it back last year. It was sooo good!!!!
