Truly a masterpiece, perhaps their best ever. It's perfectly written, sang and produced. They all shine on it and live it was always a MOMENT!!

In fact, they always delivered with their live renditions of VF during their tours, always!

 Melanie and Mel’s outro at Wembley in 1998 is particularly special!
Their best ballad! Too Much is mid tempo. It is a VERY ballad heavy group though. They needed more uptempos on a third album.

I criminally forget through periods where I forget just how incredible Spice Up Your Life is. What a bloody banging track. Easily my favourite Spice Girls Song and easily my favourite „pre-Sugababes“ track of all time

 It's my favourite Spice Girls song too! An eternal bop!

Curious about which Sugababes you think are better than Spice Up Your Life? I f***ing love Sugababes!

Spice Up Your Life is a gorgeous, near perfect song that captured a zeitgeist at the hight of their fame. And iconic moment in pop history. It's only downfall is that racist lyric, but they can easily change it (and I hope they do!).

I BOP to it all the time though :cheer:

Too lost in you is better than Spice up your life! (I know you didn't ask me but lol). It's the second best girlband ballad ever after Viva Forever for me.

Oh its a very good song, but in my opinion it goes like:

1. Viva Forever

2. War of Nerves (All Saints)

3. Goodbye

4. Run for Cover (Sugababes)

5. 2 Become 1

In terms of ballads of course!

Honestly? Quite a few but I have lived and breathed Sugababes for almost 2 full decades now and my Spice obsession didn’t last quite as long. I’ve also never seen the Spice Girls live whereas I have seen the three lineups of the Sugababes that count live and seeing MKS was basically a religious experience

SUYL is a truly magical track though. It’s one of those songs I’d rank at like a 13/10 (hyperbolic I know) but it’s like a career defining highlight, one of those lightening in a bottle tracks that the artist will probably never top again. Things like 5 Fine Frøkner by Gabrielle are in this category for me, she’ll never make another song better than it but that doesn’t diminish what she’s made since it just for me acknowledges that this track is so special.

For me, Freak, Stronger, Round Round, Run For Cover, a few album tracks, couple of other tracks and a couple of the leaks are above it. We have a Sugababes AF on here (again) and we’d love for you to pay us a visit some time!

I was listening to this last night and I still have a couple of the tracks playing in my head. Never Give Up On The Good Times is a proper highlight

It's too gorgeous, perfect like Viva Forever though I think VF is more magical to me. But WoN is probably one of the best songs ever written. The lyrics are so hauting and special, straight to the heart! I LOVE that they released such a song as a single, cos I dont think I would have heard it otherwise (at the time I was super pro-Spice and thus didnt invest much in All Saints beyond the singles).

But yeah. It's perfect!

My dad bought the single for his car, I already had the album! It's a really beautiful song indeed

Spiceworld was released in the UK 24 years ago today, on Monday 3rd November 1997!

I'm not sure anything will ever be able to top this as my favourite pop album of all time

for me this is the best pop album of all time. So many greats out there but this just inceptions my childhood, passion for Spice Girls and the whole Spicemania era. Also, sonically I feel its a stronger album than Spice, particularly including Viva Forever which makes my top three songs of all time along with Call The Shots and Promise This.

I really really really wanna Spiceworld 25 double CD and 5x vinyl next year!!!!
