I was wondering if he leaked that there was no vinyl coming on purpose so that fans would get riled up and bombarded them with vinyl (which we did), it’s so last minute that’s why nothing new or change from the previous release.

Or that he really doesn’t know anything, they just straight up lied to him so his input really doesn’t matter anyway?

Not quite that, sadly... He does have links, just like a few others do - like Chris who I find more reliable. He does have connections and was even invited backstage back in the 2019 tour and he is in regular contact with the team because they see him - and a few others - as representatives of the fandom...

I believe the 2019 backstage invite was circumstantial because of his friend’s illness? It seemed to rest on that and ultimately be more about her than about him. Even if he was the one who was pushy enough to make that happen… I don’t think it would have necessarily happened unless there’d been that reason.

My view is that him meeting them hundreds of times each is merely a choice he’s made in life, but it doesn’t mean anything in particular… and it certainly doesn’t mean that he’s the most dedicated or best fan. Anyone else could choose to do that if they had money to burn and the time to do it. Fans around the world who’ve never met any of them once are just as dedicated in their own ways. He’s not more special than any other fans and he certainly doesn’t represent me as a fan!

I don’t think his mission has ever been to be helpful to fans, he just wants to show off and come across as being important. It’s self-serving behaviour. He’s shown on numerous occasions that he’s not a particularly nice person; the way he behaved throughout the 2016 leaks debacle was actually horrendous and weird.

It’s also kind of sad how some fans suck up to him, I think it’s clearly because they see him as a vessel to help them feel like they could get closer to the girls, by keeping him on side. This is why I avoid Spice Circle, not just because of him but because of how others willingly put him on that pedestal, I just dislike the culture of that.

Hearing that he said that to Melanie C is just so aggravating, I really don’t know who he thinks he is to say that.

They had a genuine opportunity to:

• re-release the album with a fresh, era-appropriate cover

• include some previously unreleased tracks

• add “Holler” and “Let Love Lead the Way” from their 2019 tour

Yeah it was such a missed opportunity... It feels like a proper slap in the face to be honest... here's some hope for the 30th anniversary of Forever in 5 years at least lol

I doubt they will be plagged by more reunion rumours by then and certainly their excuse of 'the 30th anniversary of Wannabe is next year so we'll focus on that instead' wont work for Wannabe's 35th anniversary lol
