April 26, 20205 yr I can't vouch for the number of covers among these but Polyhex threw these up. Save Me 9 Tell Me 9 Love Me 8
April 26, 20205 yr From my 7s list to the end of 1999, I now have: Change (13) Paradise (13) Alright (10)* Guilty (10) * Polyhex doesn't include Supergrass - Alright as it was a double A-side with Time Edit: nothing new and not mentioned here yet from my 6s list, but from my 5s I now have: Falling (12) Sunshine (10) Edited April 26, 20205 yr by jimwatts
April 26, 20205 yr Author So it seems there were two songs called Crazy which I missed because I searched for one word titles: 08/12/1990 Patsy Cline Crazy {1990} 14 05/11/1994 Aerosmith Crazy/Blind Man 23 This puts 'Crazy' in joint top place with 'Stay'!
April 26, 20205 yr ^did you cancel Julio Iglesias and Leann Rimes? both covers, same song as Patsy Cline... but she covered it first
April 26, 20205 yr Author ps - 'Girls' by the Beastie Boys was part of a double A-side. Thanks, upgraded to 11 in the list Boyfriend - 16 Ahh nevermind actually only 7. But 3 in the past 8 months! And none before 2006 which is weird. Why did no one sing about boyfriends before that?! What about "I Love You" / "Kiss Me" / "I Need You" ? I Love You - 6 Kiss Me - 3 I Need You - 11 (updated in the list) I found several 8s yesterday on Polyhex but never posted them. Now I forget them. I wouldn't bother with 8s, there'll literally be hundreds of them.

'Crazy' back down to 19 then  (I'd like to make the list more accurate by identifying covers but I don't have the time to go through them all!)

I also found another one which no one had mentioned: Smile (13)
April 26, 20205 yr Found another one that’s over 10 songs and not mentioned yet... the clue is it’s currently at #16 on the official chart this week! ;)
April 26, 20205 yr Nat "King" Cole, Robert Downey Jr and Michael Jackson all recorded the same 'Smile'. I don't remember the Katherine Crowe version at all but as it seems to have a picture of Charlie Chaplin on the cover I'm guessing that's the same song too.

April 26, 20205 yr Coming Home / Comin' Home (10) If we are allowing this then I have just found another one: Loving You/Lovin' You (10) Edit: Just found a big one: Heaven (15) including one cover of course by DJ Sammy and Yanou featuring Do. Edited April 26, 20205 yr by dandruff*

If we are allowing this then I have just found another one: Loving You/Lovin' You (10) Edit: Just found a big one: Heaven (15) including one cover of course by DJ Sammy and Yanou featuring Do. Shanice's 'Lovin' You' is a cover of Minnie Riperton's so there's only 9. Heaven is already in the list with 14.
May 31, 20205 yr Bumping to point out that 25 years ago this week, two of the 14 'I Believe' songs were in the Top 30.
December 1, 20204 yr Paradise takes a step closer to being one of the most popular song titled thanks to Meduza & Dermot Kennedy’s recent Top 20 single.
July 18, 20214 yr 'Stay' extends its lead this week. Justin Bieber has quite a collection of hits with common song titles - 'Hold On' also makes another gain since the last update.
