Beat The Chasers is a brand new prime time spin on ITV’s smash-hit quiz show The Chase, challenging contestants to take on two, three, four or all five Chasers at once.

Hosted by Bradley Walsh, this nail-biting 5-part series will be stripped across a week, starring all five of the nation's favourite quiz geniuses: Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett, Anne ‘The Governess’ Hegerty, Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha, Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan and Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Wallace.

Bradley will call contestants down from the studio audience to compete. In the Cash Builder they’ll face five multiple choice questions, with the chance to bank up to £5,000. But get the first question wrong - they’re out!

Next, contestants are given the option of playing between two and all five Chasers for increasing amounts of money, but with a decreasing time advantage against them. As the money goes up, so does the number of Chasers they must face. But those brave enough to take on all five Chasers could walk away with a huge cash prize.

Play sees questions swap from contestant to the Chasers. But get a question wrong and their individual or team clock keeps counting down until a question is answered correctly. First to run out of time loses the game.

With the Chasers forming the greatest quiz team on the planet, it remains to be seen - can anyone Beat The Chasers?

Beat The Chasers will broadcast 9pm, Monday 27th April to Friday 1 May over five consecutive nights.

Yep I've been watching! Massive fan of The Chase and this is a nice twist on the format. I love the head-to-head round *.* The long introductions and the revised cash builder sections are tedious though ~

Yes not keen on the long introductions and the cash builder sections either. Really enjoy The Chase and I agree a great twist to the format.
I also don't know why they're out if they get the first question wrong  In the normal show, they can have a starting offer of £0 and then go higher so why isn't that the case here but obviously they only can go for the harder higher offers?
I think it's really fun! Not better than the main show but an enjoyable extra on top of it. The head-to-head rounds are SO tense!
It’s good to see all 5 chasers in one place and the chases are great! I just don’t get the point of the cash-builders. In the main show, it makes sense as that dictates the amount they go for like 80% of the time and has an influence on the lower offer. For this, it’s going to be very rare anyone goes for the lowest amount and it seems to have no bearing on the other amounts. All very filler~
I auditioned for this show - the guy from NI who was on the first show was at the same audition as me. Given the sort of the people who've been selected as contestants, I can see why I didn't make the cut. The ratings for this has been above 5 million for the first two episodes, so it's been a big hit. The gameplay gets repetitive (if it gets a second series I think there'll be some tweaks to the format), but it's forgiven given how well Bradley Walsh holds it together - I don't think he's usually as funny on the regular version of The Chase.
I'm loving this, the head to head bits are SO tense! The contestants are all a bit strange though aren't they?

I assume that's what B-B meant about seeing why he wasn't chosen

I REALLY like this. It's so tense! You think you know at the beginning whether somebody will do it, but you can never guess.

Love this. The banter between the chasers is good and Bradley does well.

That onions moment won't be forgotten by me for a while. :heehee:

Another 5? Look forward to them.

Crying for Raheem missing out on £100,000 with one second left.

Absolutely brutal 😭

Also The Beast kicking off because Shaun took too long to answer - what a moment *.*
