If we do go with YDNY it will be the right choice especially as people outside of the regular Kylie AF posters have voted also.

It's a bit late, but have you looked at other options? Because I believe, since non-charting singles are now eligible, she has a bunch of possibilities including... 'It's No Secret', 'Turn It Into Love', 'Cowboy Style', some Christmas songs (?), 'Golden', 'A Lifetime To Repair', 'Music's Too Sad Without You' and 'New York City'.

 

I have no idea whether any of those would be more popular than 'Your Disco Needs You' though. I'm guessing probably not since although I feel like 'Your Disco Needs You' would struggle outside of her fanbase, the same probably applies to all those.

 

Personally though, I'm not really a fan of 'Your Disco Needs You', but I love 'A Lifetime To Repair' (single edit; it actually didn't stand out to me originally, but after the edit came out it grew to become my favourite song from the album), and I just gave 'Cowboy Style' a listen (as I've heard of it and knew it was bound to be interesting) and enjoyed it.

I had a check but none of them have the same popularity or a further reach than 'Your Disco Needs You'. It's hard to deny the overwhelming support there is for it despite concerns of how it'll be perceived outside the fanbase (I don't think it'll be affected that badly tbf and I can't see anyone being able to agree on just one of any of the other choices).

I love some of those songs but ‘It’s No Secret’ and ‘Turn It Into Love’ I think would struggle being 30+ year old essentially album tracks very much of their time.

 

‘Cowboy Style’ is an iconic Kylie moment from one of her best albums which could do well but I’m sure for many it would be the first time ever hearing it so could be a risk if they are more familiar with other songs.

Some epic songs this round (and some horrors too :kink:) - will give them all a listen before voting though.

Unfortunately I couldn't put Your Disco Needs You in my Top 9 (it was 12th out of 17 for me), the first time I didn't vote for Kylie. :cry:

I will be including Kylie, Your Disco Needs You is camp and uplifting.
