Your Disco Needs You... well, evidently it's a very popular song in the fan base. I'll be interested to see what non-Kylie fans (or very casual Kylie fans) make of it. It is a full on attack of camp pop. Speaking as a big Kylie fan here, but I have to admit it's never been a huge favourite of mine, even though it mildly grew on me thanks to Step Back in Time. Proceed with caution x

Honestly didn't really believe 'Your Disco Needs You' would be that polarising but I'm prepared to hold my hands up and say you were right!

Let's hope our next choice gets some more love.

I love all of Kylie’s ballads - my #1 fave is ‘If You Don’t Love Me’ but not sure what everyone would make of that, looking forward to seeing what our entry is :yahoo:
I hope some people make a great discovery out of this one. I honestly feel like I'll feel personally offended if anyone says it's a bad song
It’s a nice song. Listening to it for the second time. It’s not a ballad lol
Great choice - I hardly know any of the songs this round so don’t know what the competition is like yet.

I actually can't at someone describing this as 'horrible'... i-

Yes it is. It's an atmospheric, trancey ballad. Ballads don't all come in the same form as each other.

Voted :cheer: Good to see people discovering ‘Fragile’ for the first time too.

I love how passionately you defend this! The taste!

Vote Kylie and seven others if you haven't already! It's a gorgeous, gentle ballad about vulnerability and romance. Can't believe it's never been performed live! :o

ROUND 08: A song that closed an era

> The final single of an era.

Confirming our definition of what makes a single: A single is a song that is fully pushed and promoted as a single from the album. NO "radio only singles". <

I'll have to check if it's eligible but my thoughts were 'The One'? If not, then 'In My Arms'.

Actually I assume 'The One' is eligible, it still had a digital release even if the physical was cancelled and had a video.

Looking at other era-closing singles, 'The One' definitely seems to me like the most popular, but interested to see what others think.
