Kylie's options for this round being so good that nobody even mentioned the equally strong 'Giving You Up' :cheeseblock:

 

'Please Stay' would've been another great one but I think 'Your Disco Needs You' would've counted as the final single through its Australian release!

Kylie's final releases usually seem to get overlooked by their much bigger preceding singles, so it's nice to see some appreciation being shown! Ultimately I figured that so many big favourites are being sent on other AFs so I chose the song that receives the most love here, since none of them were particularly big hits that would make obvious choices.

In the UK it did but 'Cowboy Style' got released in other countries so 'Breathe' won't count I'm afraid.

I believe we would have allowed Breathe to be defined as an era closer for this round! Because Britney is sending a song that closed one her eras in all bar two countries. Was Cowboy Style Australia only?

I forgot giving you up was a closing single and I really like it. With cowboy style an aussie single only I always see breathe as the closing single for IP.

Ah fair, yeah 'Cowboy Style' was an Australia (and New Zealand) release only.

Cowboy style has a great cover, its by far the best cover from the ip singles. Was it ever on the cards for a uk release?

Probably not, I think 'Cowboy Style' only got an Australian release because Impossible Princess was actually successful there. It was probably a 'for the fans' release-type following the tour.

I suppose the video suggests that's what it was, I was living in Australia around that time and managed to get a copy of the single.
