Really want hold up a light to go through, it's a great song and I've felt it should have been a single, its always brill on tour and always gets a great reaction.

"Artist Forum Idol" (AF Idol) is a music contest involving the artist forums on BuzzJack!

 

The artist forums currently taking part: Ariana Grande, Beyoncé/Destiny's Child, Britney Spears, Calvin Harris, Charli XCX, Dua Lipa, Ellie Goulding, Girls Aloud, Katy Perry, Kylie/Dannii Minogue, Lady Gaga, Little Mix, Madonna, One Direction, Pink, Rihanna, Rita Ora, Robbie Williams/Take That, Shawn Mendes, Spice Girls, Taylor Swift, Zara Larsson

 

 

There'll be 16 rounds of the contest. Each round will have a different theme to it. The themes are only being revealed when the newest round is announced. We're currently in Round 3!

 

Once the theme is revealed (Round 3 is "a song without an official music video"), BuzzJack members can use the "AF IDOL 2.0 | Robbie Williams & Take That Discussion" thread to suggest song choices that they think would best suit the theme. This thread is intended to be helpful to the Robbie/Take That mods when it comes to deciding which song they will enter. Ultimately the final decision is with the mods! Take That - 'Hold Up a Light' is this forum's entry in this round.

 

When the song has been decided on, the artist forum mods are then required to PM (private message) the song choice in order to confirm it. The PM can be sent to any of the hosts: Jonjo, Jay ☆, Hauspital*, UltraReputation, Wall or JosephStyles.

 

All the songs submitted by the artist mods are listed together in the Voting thread (Round 3 can be found here). Instructions are included in this thread. In Round 3, the task is to post a reply with your 11 favourite songs from the list. We encourage everyone who takes part to have a listen to the songs before posting their list of favourites, particularly if you've not heard some of them before. One of the intended fun aspects to this game is that you'll possibly hear songs you've never heard before and hopefully like them! Otherwise, it's all about supporting your favourite songs/artists and hoping that particular artist forums will progress further into the competition.

 

At the end of each round, the votes are counted by the hosts. In Round 3, the two songs with the least amount of votes will result in those two artist forums leaving the competition.

 

Ultimately it's a forum activity that we hope will be fun for all those who get involved!

The deadline for voting is too early Jonjo, I think it should be midnight in all cases , Laura does not usually on until late at night ( although given her record it makes very little difference :lol: ) so it can be very tight with the deadline , any possibility of changing it :unsure:
