love this and always did, not as instant as love at first sight and fever when I first heard the album but was still great.

Fragile would've been a really nice single to be honest if they wanted a more "down tempo" moment. I could've seen it being a nice fifth single in the winter 2002.

 

What do you think of this version VJdustin 2013 edit

Fragile has such gentle vocals and borderline whispering but a complete album highlight.

'Fragile' has hit me so hard after revisiting it for AF Idol! The gentle production and vocals are so soothing; it's a great way to switch the mood whilst keeping the sound of the album. Gorgeous! :heart:

a huge hightlight on the album but this version is slightly different but also great

I remember wanting "Fever" to be the 4th single at the time, but "CIMW" was definitely the better choice as it goes better with the other 3 & keeps that sophisticated run going. If there would have been a 5th single then definitely "Fever".

I will listen to that version properly after the party.

as much as i love fragile it would never work as a single

Fragile is a special album track.

Songs like fragile and bittersweet goodbye always get overlooked on kylie albums as I think people prefer upbeat kylie but I love this style from kylie.

'Come Into My World' copies a lot from 'Head', yet it strangely stands up so well in its own right?

 

Isn't there a story about why the radio edit appears on digital platforms? Didn't Kylie not like the original vocal take or something like that?

Come Into My World, all these years later it has made a great fourth single, rounding of the albums singles and becoming the 8th consecutive Top 10 since 2000.

I like this way more now than I initially did but I have to say the live performance from the fever tour was brilliant and really got me into the song a lot.

Come Into My World is still a bit of a "meh" single choice. With as big as Kylie was back then I feel she could've been a bit more daring with it.

 

The robotic entrance was amazing on that tour for this song

Many believe it's too similar to Cant Get You Out of Head but it stands to it's own.

Yup! Not sure why she has an aversion to it as I'm listening to the original Fever cd now and she sounds fine.

 

At least the single gave us the Fischerspooner remix.
