Northern Star reached these positions in various charts:

#26 - Scottish Albums Chart Top 100

#32 - Vinyl Albums Chart Top 40

#45 - Physical Albums Chart Top 100

#47 - Albums Sales Chart Top 100

Might be a while until I find out whether or not it made it into the official album chart top 200, but I would assume it hasn't.

Did it chart inside welsh chart?

Hopefully I'll be able to find out soon but that info isn't available until Thursday at the earliest!

Were you able to find out? :magic:

What a shame it did not make it in the U.K. after going top 75 in both wales and Scotland

It wasn't possible technically, as UMC allocated only 950 copies to the UK.

I wonder if the vinyl will ever be more widely released, or will remain as being that RSD exclusive.

I wish whoever uploaded it had enabled closed captions... I've always wanted to watch this.

Loved that doc

It shows Melanie’s love for music is real

Absolutely.

I still remember waiting by the TV for the premiere of the Goin' Down video here in Canada, and I remember the VJs saying multiple times during the build up to it; things like "this is unlike any Spice Girls product" or "Sporty Spice is maaaaad at someone!"

Then, the time came. The video starts. My jaw dropped. After it ended, my first thought was, sadly: "the group is done."

And I fully admit that Goin' Down didn't do it for me initially because I was so attached to the group's music still. But the more I saw the video, the more I liked it, and the song.

Then when I got to see her do it live...icing on the cake for me. Just the gutteral rawness of it. It's just interesting how differently Melanie C and Geri "buried" their Spice Girl personas in the videos for Goin'Down and Lok At Me.

Goin' Down is now one of my favourite solo Spice singles.

^ completely agree didnt get GD for years seeing it LIVE makes it so much better
I know ITTY and NBTSA are her big hits but I wish she would show the rest of the album more love in terms of performances and setlists ect.
