Is the album still Top 200 in the latest midweeks?
There's been no Top 200 updates since Monday unfortunately!

Howling at this post  ... and the fact you think you are favourite B-)

Northern Star reached these positions in various charts:

#26 - Scottish Albums Chart Top 100

#32 - Vinyl Albums Chart Top 40

#45 - Physical Albums Chart Top 100

#47 - Albums Sales Chart Top 100

Might be a while until I find out whether or not it made it into the official album chart top 200, but I would assume it hasn't.

The UK only had 950 copies though (confirmed by my local record store) so I don’t think that’ll be enough to make the Top 200 overall.

Ah so it was 950 copies for the whole of the country? Rough Trade listed 950 on their website so I assumed that was the amount they had, just tried to get one in their RSD sale but everything was sold out. Which makes sense when there were so few copies in the country.

Yes, I think Rough Trade always list how many there are overall - but I might be wrong there. It certainly was 950 in the country for Melanie though. The rest went overseas.

950 sales would easily get you top 200. It is usually about 850 copies to make #200.

As we can see from this evening it just didn't sell those 950 copies this week as there was plenty to be snapped up online tonight. Those have been snapped up quickly though which maybe tells you Mel C fans aren't the type to be shopping in store in indie record shops.

My apologies, thought it was higher than that.

It’s such a pity that Record Store Day and online sales didn’t fall within the same chart week. 🤦🏻‍♂️

#47 on sales is very low for it to be Top 200 officially isn’t it? I’m going to assume it didn’t hold on.

2500 copies worldwide ! Sure to be a collectors item!

Northern Star should have wide availability.

Thousands more vinyls could have been sold last week.

The views isn’t 1 per person by the way, people will refresh continually before the order went live just to make sure they were on it as soon as it went up. Though regardless there were certainly many more people looking than what Banquet had available (but not 3000 😅)
While it was a popular grab for RSD, I don’t think going on a widespread release would do much more for it.
