It raises the question does Kylie ever change her opinion on previous material.

If Kylie was to perform songs such as What Kind of Fool, If You Were With me Now, Word is Out etc would she find a new love for songs she now clearly has moved away from.

Songs such as the above are rarely acknowledged by Kylie if ever and Lets Get To It and Kiss Me Once appear to be her two albums she has distanced herself from.

Always loved the artwork and photography from the album - the Cherry Red box set reissue really brings it to life.

Too Much of a Good Thing, Finer Feelings and I Guess I Like it Like That are my faves on this album.

Never liked If You Were With Me Now and not convinced by Give Me Just a Little More Time.

But it's not so bad.

Too Much of a Good Thing is among the stonger songs but i love i guess i like it, i loved it from day one as it was nothing like anything else on the album, ive always had a soft spot for if you were with me now but sadly i think even Kylie herself has distanced herself from the song.
I like the album but it’s a mess - you can tell PWL didn’t know what to do with the project or Kylie once the once guaranteed Top 3 hits were not happening. :cheer:
Yes i remember this, i dont know if it was just a genuine case where she just forgot under pressure or if its just she has moved on from the album, i know it doesnt say much either way for her thoughts on the album.

"What was that one?"

I see loads of people at Kylie nights wearing a Let's Get To It tour t-shirt, I can only imagine they must have been FEWMIN at that!

Let's get to it showed pwl and kylie were no one trick pony as the album was very different from both and maybe an album that was a few years ahead of it's time sound wise.

Apart from kylies popularity was in decline at that time I think pwl didn't know how to handle the album and the variation in sound of the 4 singles reflects that.

Me too, considering she couldn't remember it when asked to list all her albums!

I've just rewatched that video and it still makes me laugh! 😂

Outside of the wannabe image issues during that phase and Kylie trying to show all of us that she was A big bad girl with naughty friends, I quite liked the diversity of the album - Even to this day.

In concept, it was good sonic potpourri. But I just feel she’d hit her saw peak with ROL and anything beyond that was downhill, and her energy on the album showed.

I only listened to this album for the first time last year. Word Is Out & Give Me Just A Little More Time are great singles choices.

Its not an album i revisit often but i still enjoy some of the songs and listen to them, word is out i like way more now than i did years ago and ive always loved i guess i like it like that, if you were with me now is criminally overlooked by fans and kylie herself but i love it.

Its not that lets get to it is a bad album as it isnt but for me its nowhere near as good as the 3 albums before it,

This! Can’t believe she acknowledged it!

An album of two halves for me - some highs and lows. Always loved the artwork though

I agree its an album of two halves which often made it sound very disjointed but also it was another step in kylie moving further and further away from how she started out.

Yeah the artwork is great - might not have been intentional but I like the idea of the men representing SAW and Kylie feeling artistically trapped.
