Still #21 on Amazon’s vinyl chart (Behind KC at #20) so it’s selling a few copies - the price reduction there might encourage people who want to collect/complete all the IP variants to get a copy.

It had supposedly only sold 14 copies between Sunday and Monday so it would really need to pick up sales over the week to keep a top 100 placing.

Nice to see it hang on to the Top 40 in the update even if it’s going to plummet.

It is a better start to the week than I would have predicted.

It all helps increase the albums overall sales.

Impossible Princess achieving new peaks in multiple countries is such a wonderful achievement 25 years on.
It is great but I had hoped ireland would have been one of them or at the least it would chart here.

Really surprised it didn’t make it in Ireland - especially as sales from her official store count towards the Irish charts.

Opened my picture disc earlier….very nice product and especially love the gatefold, pink flip and picture sheet that comes with it. Way better than the Golden one.

Agree with this - much better than the Golden and SBIT ones, the SBIT is in a gatefold and doesn’t even show that it’s a picture disc.

The downside of vinyl is it has to be stored so carefully to avoid damage, I'd hate for even the slightest of creases to appear.
Those sales are higher for a number 246 in France than i expected.

Probably similar to the UK - I bet there is literally 1 copy separating releases that low down

I can't find any chart info for France previously, so is that its highest chart position to date?

It’s never charted there - I think the fact the Internet wasn’t a big thing back then people forget just how much IP tanked even in some of her bankable/key markets at the time.

We of course know all the ‘whys’ for its underperformance but it really was a commercial disaster.

With the exception of Australia it was a commercial disaster everywhere and generally everyone wrote Kylie off, although as bad as things were then she was lucky in some aspects that the press didnt go really hard on her like they have notoriously done especially back then when an artist of Kylies caliber started to hit the skids career wise. From what i remember the press focused alot on her working with Nick Cave as it truly was a surprise partnership to everyone so that took away some of the stories about the album tanking.
