That's crazy money for a cassette.

Cassettes at one point all seemed to start out at around £7.99 and then rapidly get reduced to £4.99 to boost chart sales but now I’ve seen more and more for £10+ and the Spice Girls cassette single was a ludicrous £15 for 2 tracks.

They are so cheap to produce, have generally poor sound quality and I’m sure 99.9% never get played.

That being said though of course I’ve bought the UK and Australian versions

Couldn't resist ordering Fever cassette from Amazon. £17.99, wow... definitely the most I've spent on a newly released cassette.
Does anyone know the print run of the cassettes?

Thanks huns

Was rumoured to be 1,000 but HMV, Townsend and now Amazon have stocked them so thinking it could be more?

Also cassettes are extremely quick to produce so they could have got more made based on the demand and high profit margin?

With the various formats in different vinyl and cassette, surely Kylie will do 3k in the UK on release week, if so it might be enough for Top 40.

Thank you gorgeous

I am hoping they made more than 1000. I am sure they will have as 1000 is nothing when you have the Kylie fans.

I want it to go top 10!

Now sold out on Amazon - would have thought that out of Townsend/HMV that Amazon would have had the most stock
They have enough time to have more produced and available before release date to preorder.
Fever showing in the Top 10 would be wonderful to witness.

Imagine Pip hun. I have a feeling it may be close with all these cassettes selling out.

Fever has experienced phenomenal success in its 20 years, this return is a bonus, a final top 10 destination would be the icing on the cake.

Oh Pip hun, so it would.

Will there be enough of what's available from the new vinyl and cassettes in the uk to be even in with a shout of top 10. I think it was said the silver vinyl has 2k for UK market only which is great so I'm sure it will pick up 1k uk sales from the other vinyl and cassettes combined at minimum, it would prob need a further 2k sales to get top 10. Alot of sales will be from outside the uk like myself in ireland we have to remember.

We need to all get streaming Fever from Friday.

The Listening Party is on Friday Night with Tim Burgess too.

If the CD was £3.99 I would be tempted to buy another copy haha.

I would be surprised if it is national album Day on Friday and this is not available to buy anywhere in any format.....surely they have held some back somewhere?

Ya they should try flogging some cds that are still in stock at good prices to grab extra sales as it would help. I'm hoping some social plugging aswell from kylie and the team.
