I was just looking at last February’s album chart - it was taking 2.5k to make the Top 40, it might do it but it will be hampered with only 1 variant and I can’t see it picking up many streaming points weekly?

The album was only averaging 8 chart sales in between the totals we got for it in 2019 and 2020.

It’s what it deserves -_- :kink:

Ordered from Amazon! I hope over the next few months the price randomly goes down a bit, that sometimes happens. Although having said that, Kylie 35th Anniversary vinyl on Amazon increased from £24.99 to £27.99 during the preorder
Seeing as it's releasing in mid feb, i wonder if it has a chance of top 10 again.
I think with it only being available on one variant and also it not being her most revered album, I can see it clocking up like 2k ish which would probably put it somewhere outside the top 40.

I’d be shocked if it went Top 30 tbh - also she would need to shift 5-6k for a Top 10 and I can’t see it being anywhere near that Unless we get a few more variants.

I think she might manage low top 40 at best with this, I don't think it has the same excitement among fans as other releases.

Already 800+ bought on Amazon since yesterday! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

EDIT: 900+ bought! :music: :yahoo:

Can we dream of a number 1 album?

Standard black is only available in Australia atm - hopefully it’ll pop up here soon.

Surprised they are going for multiple variants as they didn’t bother with Light Years, Kylie Christmas etc., - maybe they were spurred on by the success of IP?

Were multi-formats much of a thing when they did the Light Years re-issue?

It was re-released the same year as Golden so multi-formats were definitely a thing.

Some of the other artists that had Sainsbury’s exclusives have 2 different colours for the same album but Parlophone seemed to restrict the Kylie ones massively.

The black version has appeared on iMusic - a Danish company that ships to the UK, I’ll wait for it to appear on a UK site I think to be sure sales will be counted towards the UK charts.
Ordered from Amazon :) I love BL ❤️❤️😂
Golden discs are also stocking the vinyl which is great for me, while I'm buying it I'm not excited for this release as I don't enjoy the album that much so her debut so what I'm more excited for.
