It's okay - Joseph knows how to get around the IP check :kink:

 Anyone wants to let me know how... I won't do it I promise

We have checked both accounts, and have had confirmation from Lee that they have come from his Zara stan Twitter account. He posted a link to here and they joined and posted as a result of that :magic:

I think that's out of order tbh they are clearly not contributing members of Buzzjacks their votes should be discarded, otherwise I'm posting the link to the poll on Spice Circle in the next round so they all come vote Spice's... especially as Zara was in line to be in the bottom too...

I think it’s fair tbh, there’s no rules against it :/

I think it's fair for anyone to vote but I wouldn't be against some lite rules in place as well.

Like you can vote only if you have 100+ posts or something like your account has to be 1 month old!!!

I think it's slightly cheating tbh... Anyway that's the last I'll say on it.

Couldn't someone just use a different device and email to set up an account? I don't know anything about IPs so don't know how it works, but I agree with Spiceboy that it does appear suspicious.

I know other sites have rule similar to this implemented! It could be something to look into. It would mean the results are reflective of the community on here, and not swayed by inviting in others to vote before they've properly explored the site.

There was a link posted to the Zara forum not to vote in here x

Even without that vote of a new member, Zara would have survived!

I can see that side of it but I can also see that if you restricted the people who could vote then we would be missing out on new people wanting to use the site, which Buzzjack is always in need of. I feel like it's only an issue if a significant proportion of the votes are coming from new members.

I saw this as a competition between fans of the acts on this site really not inviting others in to save our favourites. I've taken the time to listen to the songs and actually voted for acts I wouldn't normally give the time of day to like Ellie Goulding and Beyonce as I genuinely found that I loved the songs which I'd never paid attention to before. If I didn't like my favourite act's song as much I wouldn't vote for them. I just find it a bit iffy inviting others to come vote for your acts.

Brilliant idea! Both of these suggestions would be ideal - 1 month old + 100 posts minimum!

tbh 2 votes can make a difference after all!!!

How often do we get new members that stick around on the forum though? If they were put off by not being able to vote in this competition then I'd argue they wouldn't be interested in sticking around anyway.
