Tion Wayne looks like he’s coming for this first solo hit as lead artist as he has announced a new song with Dutchavelli & Stormzy. It should be interesting hearing Stormzy on a drill beat.

People seem to think Stormzy's verse is a diss to Chip but it seems a bit of a stretch to me. I'm expecting this top 10 next week. Dutchavelli seems due a hit, 'Only If You Knew' seemed big.

And a Top 10 hit it did deliver for Tion Wayne. Seems too much like Keisha & Becky Pt II.

Hmmm a grower this.

in a sense it is as it’s his first as a primary artist, I guess Scott forgot to mention that.

 

I do quite like this though, just wish Stormzy had more of a part over this Dutchvelli rapper I’d never heard of before.

This is a great tune, the collaboration between three rappers is like the early UK rap/grime days back in 2005.

This song would be much more enjoyable if not for Dutchavelli's unpleasantly gravelly voice. Has a pretty good hook and a good verse from Stormzy. Tion's verse does largely sound just like a recycle of 'Keisha & Becky' but he was always the best part of that song anyway.

 

Have just listened to Dutchavelli's other song 'Only If You Knew' since it entered the top 100 last week and... yeah, his voice really just isn't it, not really understanding the appeal. Tolerable enough as a feature but who is listening to a full song from him :drama:
