Yes I was thinking exactly that with Sol Campbell in 2001 if Pochettino went to Arsenal.

7 away wins from 7 :o have fun City!

Also: bye Emery!

Haha too soon (for the former anyway)

I'm blaming you for this.

Emery is well and truly f***ed now I think. Today was a must win and in the end they were lucky to get a point! I wouldn't be surprised if Poch replaces him.

Emery, Silva and Pellegrini all look close to the egde. Personally I think Silva will go before Emery, I think he will stay but very clear things are not right there at all.

Another fantastic 3 points for Liverpool today. We were awful and got quite lucky, but as they say, that is the sign of champions...

Well Tottenham played for the first 70 minutes. Now just play for the last 20 minutes. Pellegrini's days as West Ham manager look numbered.
So Zouma's backside stopped Sterling from being given the third goal for Man City.
More VAR madness with the retaking of the penalty for Leicester City that Vardy eventually at the second attempt.
Liverpool are unbeaten in 30 Premier League matches - only Arsenal (49 in Oct 2004) and Chelsea (40 in Oct 2005) have ever had longer runs without defeat.
Southampton will be wondering how they didn't win that game against Arsenal. A very poor performance from Arsenal. If they converted these chances it could have been a 4-2 win for Southampton.
21 defeats and 5 draws and still Everton have never won a league game going behind under Marco Silva.

Yes Up the Reds!!

Was a bit worried that Wolves are playing above their level. First season in and they qualify for Europe. For teams coming up from the Championship that would normally spell disaster.

Thankfully they are proving me and others wrong, they look good enough to cope with both and like Leicester they are becoming another neutrals team that we like to see do well.

They changed their formation I think, which is what has helped. I think teams sussed out how to nulify the wingbacks, but they've changed it up now and it's obviously having an effect. Like Leicester they have a really good run of fixtures for the next 3-4 weeks before things get a little bit tougher so we'll see.

I think Leicester will drop off at some point, but right now none of the other Top 6 challengers look like putting a consustent run of results together, although Man Utd have a decent block of fixtures and Spurs might be a bit more resolute under Mourinho. But I think there is enough of a buffer of points there now that it shouldn't matter.

Before Mark jumps in, it is worth remembering that Nottingham Forest had a 42-game unbeaten run in the old First Division in the late '70s under Brian Clough.
