Having only seen the second half, I agree, Sheffield should have won today, they seemingly outplayed Manchester at every turn, save that 7 minute span Manchester put 3 in...

Yes Man Utd were awful, but Sheffield Utd switched off/tired and Man Utd have the players to hurt them, which they did. A point isn't a bad result in isoloation really, it's a difficult ground to go to and I can imagine under the floodlights it's even worse. Defeat would have been extremely harsh but I guess that's what the bigger teams do. The VAR call could have gone either way too, but they got the decision correct.

I am just loving the post match car crash comments from Ole "we'd have got conceded 4 or 5 this time last year" and "it's not about tactics", the guy is a complete chancer

Sheff United were literally toying with them in the first half, a fantastic performance.

Anyone think Wilder could do a job in a top 6 side or do they all need continental managers to succeed?

Managing a club with zero expectations is whole different ballgame to a top 6 club. It's why Eddie Howe who has worked wonders with Bournemouth is never in the discussion for a big club.

It's the exact opposite of the way things worked 40 years ago.

Why is that though? Surely they deserve to be given a chance.

Not a happy return to Villa Park for Steve Bruce as Newcastle lost 2-0 to Aston Villa.

There was literally no way he could carry on, sadly. Can't remember a time where both the players and fans were collectively against a manager to such an extent.

No more "good ebenings" :'(

Next Arsenal Manager Odds

Massimiliano Allegri Evens F

Nuno Santo 3/1

Freddie Ljungberg 4/1

Mikel Arteta 5/1

Mauricio Pochettino 8/1

Eddie Howe 16/1

Carlo Ancelotti 16/1

Rafael Benitez 16/1

Patrick Vieira 20/1

Roberto Martinez 20/1

It was inevitable that Emery would go. I wonder who Arsenal will get now. Ljungberg in as temporary manager for the moment.

I think the league is over for Manchester City now, they're gonna be 11 points behind Liverpool by the end of the day. Can't quite believe this after how consistent they have been over the last two seasons.
They were 10 behind in Jan and still clawed it back so can't quite yet rule them out. Of course difference this season is their defence is dogshit & their stars aren't performing consistently save for KDB.
Southampton win at home for the first time since April! Although to be fair, if it wasn't gonna happen against Watford there would be no hope

West Ham have won away at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League for the first time since 2002.

A case of deja vu for Tottenham and Mourinho with leading 3-0 and then conceding two in the second half.
Where was VAR for Fernandinho's second yellow card? On another day that would have been red. Man City's defence again weak.
