That's true, but Soton did recently beat both of them so if they nick the odd win against the teams around them then they'll still be in a good position to survive.

Think there's no really "nailed on" to go down yet this season actually. Even Watford playing away at Liverpool today had some great chances to get a result!

Liverpool looked awful today, I would be afraid we could go on a bad run if we eventually do get beat.

But if we win our Boxing Day game vs Leicester and then the two home games after we will be in a great position.

If you beat Leicester AND they fail to win against City then they'll be at least 15 points behind which would absolutely guarantee you the title. You don't go from losing 1 game in 50 to 5+ in 20 unless literally your entire starting XI got injured.
Yeh Gini injured yday could be a blow, really hope this is the season I finally the year I see my team win the championship!

You can’t read too much in to that game yesterday - early kick off after the CL (look how much Chelsea struggled yesterday too) against a team with a new manager. The scary thing about Liverpool is we aren’t even out of second gear yet. Basically we can afford to drop off form to Top 4 level as both our biggest two rivals have to play each other twice yet.

We have a good squad, we will be fine. Inevitably we will get beat at some point, just got to navigate Christmas and see where we are.

10 points ahead of Leicester is too much of a lead to throw away, Liverpool will surely lose a match at some stage but I think they have the title won now. I guess that will be the end of the banter about how many decades it's been since they last won a title, I suppose it had to end at some point. They've got the same amount of points after 17 games that Manchester City had in the season that they got 100 points which would suggest they're heading towards a roundabout the same points total.

We're on track for about 110 points, which I don't think we will achieve, but around the 100 points mark looks likely. We have to go to some tough places away from home. If we can navigate this December-January period now it sets us up fantastically for the rest of the season.

Leicester have no chance of the title unless Liverpool completely collapse, City have it in them to go on a 10+ game winning streak but Leicester don't.

De BRUYNE proving again vs City why he's one of the leagues best midfielders!
This is probably one of the worst Arsenal sides I've seen in the Premier League, the way they are playing at the moment.
He looked like he was raging, it was strange that Ferguson played three up though against united, he really went toe to toe with them and didn't just sit back.
Arsenal are in talks with Manchester City over the availability of coach Mikel Arteta.

I thought it was an unnecessary move from Ferguson to sub Kean. Don't understand that move.

Arteta wouldn't be an interesting appointment.

The clamour for Arteta is interesting. I don't know what he is like as a coach but he seems highly rated and it even seems like he might be an outside shot for the City job. He obviously must have something about him. Even more strange is Ancelotti potentially going to Everton!
Ancelotti to Everton wtf? Good luck to him. Still different from the Moyes, Pardew, Big Sam trying to resurrect the team.

Mikel Arteta is expected to be named as Arsenal's new manager on Friday.

Arteta said his farewells to staff at Manchester City on Thursday morning.

There has been annoyance at City over Arsenal's conduct but they will not stop Arteta, 37, succeeding Unai Emery.

A seven-figure compensation payment will be made in order for the move to be completed.

Moise Kean substituted after 18 minutes of coming on. What do you make of that?

The worst part of it was that Ferguson said nothing to Kean when he came off. That's awful man management. It left the poor player feeling utterly bewildered.
