I was expecting something more in-your-face but I've already played this loads, so addictive. Doja doesn't add much though :(

It's a shame that Doja's part is so small but it's definitely a highlight for me! Much prefer this to Birthday and Her so far
This is much better than Birthday. I miss when she was properly sassy on her songs. This seems to just plod...
I genuinely cannot stand her lyrics. Her writing is so cliché and cringe-inducing. I wanted to like her following Ciao Adios, F.R.I.E.N.D.S, Rock-A-Bye and Alarm, but ever since 2002 her efforts have been diabolical.
Are we all ignoring how this song is as bad as, if not worse than Birthday? I miss Alarm Anne-Marie, can she come back please?

I think we’re all just ignoring that it’s been released x

I'm a bit disappointed by this considering I'm probably in the best mindset for Anne-Marie currently and Doja Cat hasn't disappointed with any of the tracks I've heard from her recently. It just doesn't sound grand enough instrumentally to be anthemic like its lyrics nor is it catchy and in your face enough to remain lodged in your brain. Unsure how this will do tbh - maybe a peak on first week in the top 40 and a drop from there?
I can’t not hear Beautiful by Christina Aguilera in the chorus and during Doja’s verse. Anyone else?
It sounds like they both can’t really be arsed. I’m hearing Lego House in the chorus for some reason.
I mean I'm the first to criticise Anne-Marie and some of her music  (and tbf, it's only because I know she's very capable) BUT I kinda like this. Was expecting another disaster based off the comments in this thread but it's a cute bop tbh.
It's fine which for how she's set herself up is about all I can ask for  I don't think I'll ever really seek it out to listen to on my own volition, but I wouldn't turn it off it come on somehow.

Agree
