How she turned things round after PI...mind-blowing!

Don't listen to this much but it is exhilarating whenever I do!

I was so, SO disappointed with this on it's release. I still do feel really underwhelmed by it! But in the context of 'Joanne' as an album it oddly, WORKS. I bop to it when listening to the album, but I never go back to it on it's own.

I find Perfect Illusion unlistenable. I’ll wear ear condoms this time.

God I love stripped back Gaga. This is a gorgeous song and one of the clear standouts from Joanne. :heart:

I sound like a dying goat when I attempt the chorus for this x

MR is one of her best singles and love the video too, so heartwarming!!!

I LOVE 'Million Reasons'. One of her very best and I can't believe I'm saying that about a song from 'Joanne'.

An incredibly special song to me. The lyrics are beautiful, and her voice is just absolutely stunning throughout. When I watched the Joanne tour recently I hadn't peeped the setlist beforehand, so I kept waiting for Million Reasons and it wasn't coming. I didn't think it'd end up being the encore, but my god what a MOMENT. :cry: :wub:

MR is still a stunner. The first song that really started to turn fortunes around for her commercially. The Superbowl performance is still a highlight :wub:

Million Reasons is gorgeous! Not one I revisit much but it's pretty undeniably a significant moment in her discography, even with the underwhelming chart performance over here.

One of her best ballads. Absolutely GORGEOUS. The Superbowl performance of this is stunning!

 

I'm one of the few who loves listening to 'Joanne', this is always a MOMENT. Just GORGEOUS.

I think this is one of those songs that will be remembered despite not technically being a big hit in the UK.

The Cure was exactly what I wanted from Gaga at the time. A GREAT song with no strings attached. I was amazed it was actually a cute hit for her in the end!
