Poker Face was such a smart follow-up single, truly cementing Gaga as one of the most exciting new artists around at the time. Love :wub:

Ok this is what cemented her as a non-1 hit wonder. I prefer this to Just Dance and it's my favourite song from the debut. I was infatuated with the video too - pure SEX but in a unique way that is still her~

I don't know why, but I've never LOVED this as much as everyone else. I mean, it's obviously a banger and a great song... but there's a handful of her singles I prefer over it! But it's such a classic and a Gaga staple.

Paparazzi isn't my ultimate fave but I still like it a lot. Oddly I'm more familiar with Greyson Chance's cover (which went viral and is pretty much the reason he has a music career), mainly because it's included on his debut album which I spammed SO hard!

 

(now that I think about it, my fave twink singers have a habit of covering Gaga :lol: Matteo Markus Bok covered Shallow on his debut album and Ulrik Munther covered Born This Way on his... :lol:)

This is also like committing treason but the singles from 'The Fame' do bore me a little these days. Amazing songs but SO overplayed.

Her very best and it was actually the first ever Gaga song I heard as it was sent to BJSC mid-2008 (?) I think! STUNNING! The melody is GORGEOUS and smooth! I was SO happy it was a single! And obviously I'm gonna give a heads up to THAT performance.
