I was so gutted when I heard Rick Genest (the tattooed skull guy in the video) took his own life :( </3 I always think of him when I listen to this.
I literally remember the time and the place I listened to Born This Way for the first time. :heart: One of my absolute faves from her and such an important song.

There was so much hype for it wasn't there?? I don't think I've been so excited for a single release since.

I've never really liked this one, oops. It just sounds unfinished to me?

 

It's catchy though.

Born This Way has such a powerful message. As a song it's not really one I return to much but I have a lot of appreciation for it nonetheless!

I love this song... SO DAMN MUCH. One of my all time favourite songs! So damned under appreciated! </3

 

The chorus is HEAVENLY and the jarring and erratic verses are oddly complimentary!
