This is suuuuch a pointless cover and should not have been a single :( I don't dislike it but definitely one of her weakest singles!

A very odd single choice :lol: 'Anticipating' was right there!! Well, at least she redeemed herself on the covers front with the brilliant 'My Prerogative'.

I mean I like it, and it works as a fun moment in the Crossroads movie. It really shouldn't have been a single though, certainly not months after Crossroads was in cinemas. This actually killed the 'Britney' campaign in the UK, the album didn't chart well in Q4 2002.

In terms of Britney singles, this was a complete and utter MISFIRE. But in terms of general cover songs... there have definitely been worse! I enjoy this, but it really isn't needed!

I... do not love I Love Rock n Roll oop. Should've stayed a bonus track on the album or something as a cute touch at the end but it disrupts the flow on the album quite a bit for me (in terms of quality too x) ~

'I Love Rock N Roll' ....

 

One of her weaker moments, and that's not even Singles wise. It really doesn't sound good upon re-listening either, such a weak lifeless cover.

I don't know. I mean, I remember that Coca Cola launched an event to dance with Britney during "I Wanna Go" and the people who are there won the contest, but I only had some flashbacks about it until I saw the video.

Now for the song that should've been a single in place of ILRNR! Cinderella's my favourite non-single on the album :wub: :wub:

'Cinderella' :wub: I actually think this is her biggest missed opportunity singles wise. It would've done SO much better after 'I'm Not A Girl...' than 'Boys' & 'I Love Rock N Roll' did and I genuinely think it would be regarded a Britney classic had it been given full Single treatment with a killer video. Ugh!

 

Still, WHAT a song. That final chorus / middle eight!! A POP SONG!
