This is definitely the weakest link for me so far! It's never been a particular standout. I feel like 'Salute' took this sound up a notch *.*

I was SO convinced they were going to make 'Stereo Soilder' single 4. It's a bop and would have been an almost cliché continuation of the 'Wings' sound. I'm glad they went for for 'How Ya Doin'?' though. Saying that it would have rolled onto 'Salute' nicely.

Time for the song that heavily inspired the sound for their next album, 'Salute'. It's really easy to hear why too! This has ALWAYS been a highlight to me. It should have been the final single over 'How Ya Doin'?' imo. I think a single remix with a rapper would have worked on this just as well! Such a brilliant pop song!

This has ALWAYS been my least favourite from the album. But it's actually matured and aged really nicely! I think I'm liking this a lot more than I did when I first heard the album! Ermmmm... GO PRETEND IT'S OK!!! GO AND BE THE WHEN YOUR EYES SAY IT OFF THIS ALBUM!

The prequel to Ari's 'fake smile' tbh x This is quite pretty (especially the strings!) but there are definitely stronger ballads here.

I feel like I should love it more as a 'Salute' stan but the chorus has never fully clicked for some reason :( it's not bad but I always seem to forget about it.

That I'll agree with, I am definitely enjoying this more than 8 years ago. I think this is the first time I'm hearing it in over 5 years and I'm not disliking it.

 

Their vocals are absolutely stunning here :wub: this has always given me chills.
