June 25, 20205 yr Streaming.... just look at German chart for instance, it has changed so much since streaming is included that most of the chart is hip-hop related.... I think hip hop was always much popular than pop I think, it was more illegally downloaded because teenagers used to get it from illegal sources rather go to shop and buy a record. Now, they have all records they wanted to under one finger. Surely a lot more people are now using Spotify as well though and it'll even itself out? Hate all them GRM Daily songs that chart!

June 25, 20205 yr Yep another week of Perfect in the Top 40 as more songs drop out / go to ACR than there is new music to replace them. Incidentally it's now up to 5th in the all time sales list, seems it overtook Thinking Out Loud as well as Despacito and Uptown Funk in the last few months, so it's behind only Shape Of You for songs from the 2010s.
