Oooh, pleasing to see 'You Lost Me' make the top 10. An example of a great song by an artist unfortunately releasing it after their time had passed and it stood no chance. :( (like 'Perfume' by Britney and 'Ghosttown' by Madonna in that respect).

Yay for 'Your Body' making the top 10 too!

Here's what's to come in the top 10 (in chronological order):

Genie In A Bottle

Dirrty

Beautiful

Fighter

Can't Hold Us Down (ft Lil' Kim)

The Voice Within'

Ain't No Other Man

Hurt

You Lost Me

Your Body

Thoughts?, Predictions?, feel free to share...

I'm really surprised 'Your Body' is in there but I can't argue with any of the others. Very strong Top 10.

Come On Over deserves top 10 !!!

I Turn to You, Lady Marmalade and Candyman I absolutely adore.

The others are good but not one's that I go back to all of the time

#10. You Lost Me | 7.976

Highest Scores: 11: (Scene), 10: (Lukuzz, #VoteGarden.keh), Lowest Scores: 5: (Euphorique)

Kicking off the top 10 is the down-tempo ballad You Lost Me, released in June 2010 as the 3rd single from her 6th studio album Bionic (also the last from this era to feature here.
The song was described as the heart of the album & co-written by Xtina herself & Sia, who also co-wrote 3 other tracks on the standard edition of the album, before she'd make a big name for herself as an artist in her own right. Upon release it was well received by most critics who'd considered it as one of the album's most outstanding numbers, but however it was a complete flop on the charts worldwide. In the USA it became her first single to miss the top 100, only managing to reach #20 on the US Bubbling Under chart. In the UK it became her lowest charting single, peaking at a dismal #153. Elsewhere it managed minor peaks in Slovakia, Netherlands & Romania. Originally there was a tour planned to promote the album titled 'The Bionic Tour', but due to low album sales & the poor reception to the singles, it got scrapped, as Xtina started to struggle for relevancy, as by this point it seemed that her hit-making days were behind her.

Such a shame that this got criminally ignored at the time, as this has to be one the most vulnerable songs of her career, Obviously due the album's poor reception & not so great lead single, this never really stood a chance & if better decisions were made regarding 'Bionic' itself, such as some tweaking to the tracklist & better single choices, then this era may have been more successful & not tank Xtina's career in the process & this stunning ballad could have gained the attention it deserved. As this stands it has a very unique & fresh feel to it, where the lyrical content is far more complex than anything she's done before. A firm example of how far she's come in terms of maturity as an artist, with some dynamic yet sorrowful vocals that not only soars, but can send shivers down your spine, along with gorgeous strings & stellar production, this a firm highlight in Xtina's discography, even if it is something of a "lost" classic.

YLM is beautiful. One of her very best ballads. Had it been released on a different album, I think it would have been thought of more fondly :(
Ngl, it’s gorgeous but I don’t think You Lost Me ever would’ve smashed even if it was from BTB or Stripped. Lift Me Up should’ve been the ballad single.
I remember at the time one of my friends who didn't even follow music saw the video of 'You Lost Me' because it was premiered (or promoted?) on MSN (lol), and she said she really liked the song. To me that proves that all it needed was some airplay and exposure, of which it got nil. :(
You Lost Me, Your Body and Fighter are my faves of Xtina’s career so happy to see them do so well!

#09. Your Body | 8.0

Highest Scores: 11: (#VoteGarden.keh, Cameron), 10: (Tawdry Hepburn, Davidson, Andrew, Nick F1), Lowest Scores: 3: (Scene)

At #9 we say goodbye to yet another era with Your Body, which turned out to be something of a dark horse throughout this rate, starting off somewhat slow, then picking up in the middle with a few 10's, then gaining some 11's which saw it climb into the top 10. Released in September 2012 as the lead single from her 7th album Lotus, with production by Max Martin & Shellback, (making this her first time working with them). Prior to its official release, an uncensored demo version of "Your Body" was leaked to the web on August 23, 2012, entitled "f*** Your Body", But obviously had to be cleaned up for airplay. Upon release the track received mixed to positive reviews & achieved moderate success on the charts. In the USA it peaked at #34 becoming her 17th top 40 hit, while in the UK it fared better with a #16 peak, making this her 15th & final top 20 hit to date. Elsewhere it managed top 10 in Canada, top 20 peaks in Brazil, Japan, Sweden, Austria, while managing top 40 peaks in 11 other countries.

If I have to be blunt, as I'm very surprised that this has managed to rank top 10 here. This isn't bad or anything, in fact its a very bold number with some very slick production where Xtina deliver's some belting yet assertive vocals over some thunderous beats. However this track just doesn't really do all that much for me, as it feels very much Max Martin by the numbers pop which lacks Xtina's usual personality (until we get to the bridge) & while she does have the pipes, they feel a little loud & strained on here. After evolving with each album, here it felt like she was taking a step back in order to just get a comeback hit, which sadly didn't happen as this well & truly fizzled. A major disappointment after her massive collaboration with Maroon 5, revitalized their careers, while Xtina's was left in the dust.

Happy with those two going out first.

'You Lost Me' is stunning though.

Come through Your Body!

One of my absolute favourites, in fact possibly my favourite from her

Edited by Nina West

I think Lift Me Up was the more universal to the GP ballad from Bionic.

You Lost Me is fantastic deserved at least top 20.

I’m feeling possibly Genie could be next too really hope it’s not Beautiful :(

But the description is making me think Genie more than anything else.
