I don't like the sampled bit in Mr Loverboy. Probably the weakest non-ballad moment on the album for me.

'Mr Loverboy' was actually one of my instant favorites on first listen, I was very in love at the time.

 

It's super catchy and has a really great Summer vibe.

 

Listening to 'A Different Beat' is interesting because I honestly don't think I've heard it in years.

This really brings the album back to the sound in the first half of the album! I remember my mind being blown and fan-girling SO HARD hearing this in the background of one of the Pitch Perfect movies :') ICONIC.

 

So catchy and powerful. So much oompf! Should/could have been a single, easily imo!

A Different Beat is really fun :cheer:

 

Honestly one of my faves from the album. Feels like a good continuation from the songs at the start of the album.

I feel like it's very 'Wings 2.0' I'd say it's the most "DNA" of the tracks.

I quite like the 'Salute'-esque marching band vibes but otherwise this has always been the most forgettable standard song for me!

Like with 'DNA', I got 'Salute' for Christmas and it was once again the standard version :lol: so I'm less familiar with these extra songs.

I always got confused as to why they released the deluxe version of 'Salute' as 2 CD's :')

 

This lacks that little bit of punch to make it amazing, for me. Still a solid song and I like the extra middle-eastern twist they have put to the sound of the album. It's good.

They Just Don't Know You has a pretty cool beat but the rest of the song isn't hitting me that much.

 

The deluxe tracks on here are sounding much better than the ones from DNA though!
