Welcome to Round 8 of the Rated R survivor.

 

Vote for least favourite of what is remaining.

 

Round 7!seen us lose an official single from the album, Te Amo. Te Amo to me kinda discusses bisexuality in the lyrics. Production wise the track has a Latin feel to it, I’d say this is one of the (odd one out) tracks on this album tbh in terms of the entire albums theme the other track being something what’s still in the competition! When compared to the rest of the album the production on this track is a bit less on the futuristic side too and comes at a point in the album where the ballads of the album are about to come. I think this is an underrated track of hers especially in terms of her singles however the album it’s on is so strong that I think now was about the right time for it to go!

I agree! It’s funny though because I always assumed the label wanted Rude Boy to be a single and that it was on the album

For commercial reasons but Rihanna herself actually was the one who pushed to make it a single!

 

It is the odd one out though kinda more fitting of Loud actually!

Rude Boy for me, only just though.

What's the next album survivor after this one out of interest? :P

 

At some point in July! We’re planning on doing them for all of her eras before the next album.

 

We’re planning on doing TTT and Unapologetic first and then her first three eras after that.

 

We ended up doing Rated R so soon because it won her albums survivor :)
